Season 7?? Brings up the question again: "are they calling each of these runs of 6 new episodes a season ?"

No.. the show has been around for 7 years.. each season has about 18 episodes and are usually divided into 2 or 3 runs of new episodes.

That's what it said during the promo...

"An all new season of South Park begins March 19th"..

Which was why I asked that question, I thought for sure I remembered them advertising the last run of episodes as "an all new season"

I guess to summarize:

March 19 is the start of season 7.

The last run of new episodes was the second part of the season, not a season on it's own.

Looking forward to the new season, irregardless of what # it falls under.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

I wonder if they'll address the Kenny issue any more. As of now, Rob Schneider is Kenny. Derp de derp de dum.

No, Kenny just poped up out of no where in the last episode of last season. The kids just said, "Oh hey Kenny" and that was it.

Welcome back, Kenny!

If his return is permanent, I hope it doesn't cut down on Butters' screen time.

Any info on what topics they will be skewering this season?

Honk!

The boys discover Earth is nothing but one big intergalactic reality show and itís about to be canceled when "South Park" returns for its seventh season on Wednesday, March 19 at 10:00 p.m. on Comedy Central

With a nod to the first episode of South Park, the satellite dish in Cartmanís ass has been reactivated. The question of "Visitors" in the small mountain town is finally answered when the aliens return to wrap up one of their longest running reality shows, "Earth". Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny, yes Kenny, are once again trapped in space and itís up to them to save the planet from annihilation.
