Real World Paris : June 3rd

Can you believe it, I think they are going to run straight from Vegas into Paris..

Although this should be a good one what with the language barrier and all.

anything is better than this season, its abysmal..

Time to end the Real World already.

The Vegas season is bad, bad, bad... The first few years, NY, LA, San Fran, London were all good throughout.... other seasons had good moments.... but this Vegas season is just poo poo.

The Vegas season will just never end. The DVD was announced but the show keeps going & going.

Remember when Real World was good and only had, like 13 episodes?

Now they run it every week for 6 months and the same nothing keeps happening.

They really ought to shorten the seasons back up and only air the highlights.

Patman 03-04-03 11:08 PM

Can they strand the cast in France if their season sucks?

GuessWho 03-04-03 11:17 PM

Real World: <strike>France</strike> Freedom

Patman 03-04-03 11:19 PM

If it's being filmed in France, it's bound to stink. :D

Gallant Pig 03-04-03 11:26 PM

I bet it will be an international cast like they did for Real World London.

Ever notice the cast for the Real World is always the same set of stereotypes? The NY Pseudo Intellectual, the Rebel, the California Girl, the Angry Black Man, Southern Conservative, the Frat Boy, the Supermodel, and the Gay Guy.

How "real" is it now? Seven people picked "at random" to live in a multi-million dollar house that none of them could possibley afford, not pay rent, and get a dream job that not one of them is qualified for. Yeah sounds pretty realistic to me.

I'm glad to hear these comments on the Las Vegas one. I've watched the real world from the very first episode, but after the last couple seasons and the first few episodes of this one, I finally stopped watching. I always figured I'd probably catch a marathon at sometime or another, but now I know I need to just avoid it.

I wonder when MTV's going to pull the plug on this show

Agreed. Most of the kids (whether in fact, or due to editing) come out looking cliched anyway.

This season is such a slut fest. OMG is Alton a drunk! I swear to God, he may be as big a drunk as anyone I knew in my college days. I am not kidding when I say he should check in to Sierra Tucson...

The Vegas season is the first that I can remember intentionally avoiding as I channel surf. That says a lot because I can remember spending many a sleepness night watching Real World and Road Rules (which I prefer) marathons. I have watched a few episodes of the Vegas season and they were just freaking awful. When will this season end? Is this next season in Paris just a rumor to throw us off the current season's dead carcass?

I think the last three seasons have been trully horrible. Time to get some new casting directors to finally get someone new. At least with some of the Anti-Americanism stuff going on in France, maybe they will have a decent story line. Probably will continue to suck though as they have for the last four or five years.

It hasn't been "real" for years. When it first started, with the exception of Eric "The Grind" Nies, it was actually ordinary (looking) people with somewhat ordinary jobs living in an ordinary apartment. Now it seems they get the prettiest people they can find and put them in an elaborate palace. Doesn't really surprise me though, as it looks like MTV's main demographic these days is teenage girls.

...What happens when you take 7 models and put them in unreal situations?
