There are many stories why they let McDonald go, ranging from Don Ohlmeyer didn't think he was funny, to the fact that Ohlmeyer was close friends with OJ and thought that Norm did too many OJ jokes, to Norm saying f&*k on the air. I think that basically it was everything added up that did it, and not just one incident. I saw him the day that he found out that he was canned on Letterman, and it was hilarious.

I heard something on Stern where Jim Brewer said bad things about Lorne Micahels. Lorne found out about it from the reporter who Jim spoke to. Lorne then fired Jim.
