Who’s your favorite NYPD Blue character (if you can pick one)?
 

Mine’s Medevoy (sp?).

This guy is totally self effacing and supportive of random folks. Then they show him try to jump a waist high fence and he lands on his face. He’s no super hero.

He supports his alienated wife indirectly by backing off of his daughters’ lives. Then, when he encounters anger, all that repression is funneled toward a potentially destructive end. He really can get pissed off, but doesn’t really know what to do with it.

In one I saw, he failed to relieve a suspect of a small automatic and Sipoweitz’s (sp?) life was put in danger. The look on Gordon Clapps’ face was classic, when he found out. I like fallible heroes whose hearts are strong. That’s why Greg Medevoy’s my favorite character.

My head tells me Sipowicz.
