If this is the reality show I think it is (the one about the adult film family), wouldn't this be better for the mature forum.

No considering it was far more humorous than anything else.

Best ... show ... ever

I've been praising Showtime for the past 2 years as they've slowly been trying to get near the same league as HBO, and shows like this certainly help. I wish they had kept Odyssey 5, but they have still build a good group of shows now.

das

P.S. It's no more "mature" than anything else on premium cable. Maybe if we had a Prude Forum ...

The way they mentioned durring the tyson fight (be sure the kids are in bed, this is defenatly not your typical family show ect), I wonder how non explicit it was. (I was buisy watching a camp classic on another showtime network, color of night, to watch this show.)

Btwn Family Business and the Penn & Teller show afterwards, this is the greatest hour of television I think I have ever seen.

I think they were just being cautious. I'm sure a wide range of viewers tuned into Showtime just to see the Tyson debacle, and a title like Family Business isn't exactly descriptive. It's nothing more than warnings before Buffy (not for teens) or South Park (not for anyone) or anything on Sci-Fi (not for fans of Sci-Fi).

But you've brought up another great thing about this show: no shots of Bruce Willis's Willis.

I told you there was good stuff over here. I can't seem to get any of my friends to subscribe though.

I watched this too - was impressed.

Showtime has done a nice job with their new "late night" shows.

Yes, unfortuantly I got to see that as well, but some great shots of that chick. (anyone know who that was)

I assume you mean Jane March. I know she's like 30, but I still feel dirty when she gets it. She'll always be that girl from The Lover to me anyway.

Only30? This flick was made I think in 93 or 94 or maybe 92. So she must have been maybe 20 or 21 when this came out.

Yeah, I meant 30 now. Probably 19 or 20 when Color of Night was filmed. I still have nightmares about her scenes with Lesley Ann Warren.

Everyone should be forced to watch that Penn & Teller program. Oh I guess that wouldn't be very libertarian of me.

Again - that was a great hour of television. I just set up my Replay-TV to record both of these programs every Friday night. I guess the Tyson fight was good for something.

The movie is that bad I don't remeber the scene you are talking about (with Lesley Ann Warren), so please don't tell me about what ever that scene was.

Back on topic, what was this show about other than about a porno movie family. And will showtime replay it.

I own both movies on VHS because Jane March gives me the hot in both ><.

from me as well for Family Business. The only part that bothered me about it was they kept showing Belladonna. I hate that woman!

They are both on dvd, so you can now do chapter search, that would make the fast forwarding easier, right?

New episodes appear every Friday at 11:30pm according to what they said at the end of the show. They mentioned this was a sneak peak, so I assume they'll be replaying this one.

I thought it was a pretty good show - more interesting than I thought it was gonna be.

Yeah, they've been promoting this thing for what seems like months, and I had no idea what to expect. The ads didn't really give much detail on what the show would be like. I didn't really understand why they didn't let this show out when Bullshit premiered a few weeks back, but it certainly was a good move if it got people to watch after the Tyson silliness.

I bought them both quite some time ago, long before I ever switched to DVD. Only the movies that I truely loved on VHS did I switch over to DVD. The movies I rarely watch stay on VHS.

i agree, however, my b'friend and i got in a fight over last nights episode (he smokes, i've lost family to smoking).

i liked family business but i thought it'd be more about the family business. seemed to be preoccupied with him and his personal life (he needs to hurry and get a SO so she can decorate that huge house! )...maybe they'll get more into it later. he was very sweet with his son!

That whole scene where that guy was trying to get it up with the old fart in the room while looking at the magazines was f-ing hilarious. Talk about blowing the lid off the non-glamourous side of the adult entertainment industry.

i loved how he kept whistling and talking! you could tell he was uneasy being in there but you'd think he would have had the sense to keep quite so things would go quicker!
