Family Guy returns to TV this April!
 

AnimationInsider.net is reporting that Fox animated series will be returning to TV this april on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim programming block.

Just wanted to let any fans of the series out there know about it. It'll probably take over the weekdays at 11:30pm spot that Home Movies currently occupies, moving that show to sundays only, knocking The Oblongs of the block for good. Later.

good news. but are they new episodes or reruns? i'm guessin reruns.

I had to think the same thing, cause the article really doesn't say. Given the relationship with futurama, i think we all have to assume reruns. But, one can always hope. Family guy has quite the following, moreso than futurama, and it might warrant some new episodes. But thats being extremely hopeful.

I love Family Guy, one of the most consistently outrageous and hilarious show I've ever seen.

As much as I'd love new episodes, I'd be just as happy to watch all the old ones.

It fits in nicely with Futurama.

Censored crap, and lots of it, will be buying dvd instead. (see futurama thread)

Yeah, I agree with Rypro, I would rather pick up the DVDs. Which I was gonna do anyway.

i'll get the dvds so its not really great news...unless it could mean new episodes.

anything that could build a fanbase for the possibility of new episodes is good news though

It's been on up here in Canada since Jan/03 on Teletoon. They have the 1st two seasons episodes.

Of course, wait until they release the DVDs before they start rerunning the hell out of it. Oh well, still good news. Maybe one day we will be blessed with Duckman on Cartoon Network.

Reruns or not i'll be watching this.Thank God for Cartoon Network. :) And of course i'll still pick up the dvd. :)
