I haven't seen any of those things. This was the first time I had seen him as an actor. He was not terrible. I actually haven't seen him regularly since P.I. was cancelled, as I don't get HBO. I always figured the Comedy Channel up here would pick up Real Time, but it never happened.

And didn't make out too bad; at the end of the movie, his character got the girl:

That said, I will be tuning in tonight to watch him separate his shoulder patting himself on the back over how right he was about Trump's post-election behavior.

Eh, letting Conway spout her usual bullshit, supporting Trump. She says so much nonsense in a short period of time it was hard for him to keep up. She actually defended his record on COVID.

The interview with Conway was predictably annoying and useless. Not sure why he bothers, did they used to bang or something?

Who knows, she said absolutely nothing in 10mins other than she was the victim, She’ll never work again, other than maybe for one of the ultra right wing media agencies like Fox or Newsmax.

Also, she's married to a guy who hates Trump's guts, so why can't Bill be friends with her?

I enjoyed Katie Couric calling Maher on his "tragedy magnet" joke about Biden. Of course, then he tried to play it off as he was referring to Biden's broken foot, not his dead wife and son.

I actually believe, he didn't think about his tragic family history, when he said it. I didn't either, than Katie Couric intervened and then he realized his faux pas and played it off.

Open for debate if the joke was in good taste but the observation is valid. Biden has made it a part of his politics by claiming that all the tragedies in his family have made him an empathetic person in contrast to Trump.

What I like is when Bill tried to interrupt Couric she basically shut him down and finished her comment. You could see Bill wasn't used to being told to let me finish then you can speak.

He didn't look irritated or annoyed though, like he normally does. To me it looked like he was enjoying her input. I definitely think he respects her.

I am pretty happy that they are still using the set with an audience and a real panel. The shows from is house were awful, the monologue didn't work, because he didn't get any feedback and the gimmick of using footage of audience became old after one episode.
The interviews weren't that good either since you could have a real discussion.
The two appearences of Jay Leno were just horrible.

On Seth Meyers with the writers in the minimal audience, it's funny when he will call them out by name for their lame monologue jokes

This week’s episode was so full of misinformation and junk science I just had to turn it off.

Maybe things will improve when we are past COVID and Bill can fill his panel with better guests and better interaction, but now this show is D-U-L-L. I always end up skipping to New Rules.

Yea, it’s definitely not good when your own staff doesn’t laugh at your jokes. And then that awkward moment when he calls attention to it...
