Joss Whedon interview

Here's an interview with Joss I just found. some of it's worth reading. His response to #16 is interesting but I can't say I'm surprised.

The answer to #71 entertains me. Beer Bad, pot good?

#16 made sense to me since it seems like Whedon's been over Buffy for a few years now (ever since he gave Noxon such a big role in running things, really.) He says he can only really handle two shows; Firefly's his current baby, and Angel does a decent job of taking care of itself. So, it makes sense that Buffy'd be the one to go.

The list gave me a good laugh. Reminded me that the wonderful mind behind these projects does still in fact exist... despite my occasional doubt.

Joss was probably over Buffy after he finished up "Once More With Feeling".

What a silly guy he is.
I am hoping he doesnt take the money and run and let Buffy go on next season.
Its time. I think he knows that but wether the other writers do is another story.

He mentioned something about having a wife but isn't Whedon gay?

No, Whedon isnt gay. His wife helped with the Buffy Musical from what I have read.
What made you think he was gay? Because he is so creative?

No, because I could have sworn I read that he was in an article about homosexuals in Hollywood. I remember it saying Clive Barker was, which at the time I did not know.

My mistake, for some weird reason, I mixed up Whedon and Kevin Williamson (Dawson's Creek), who is gay.

It looks like Joss is going to get his wish. AICN is reporting SMG is very close to a deal for a movie that begins shooting in August, the same time Buffy would begin shooting.

Buffy needs to retire. Angel needs to move on. Faith/Eliza needs to marry me!
