Scrubs: new episode tonight but in a different time slot

Just a quick heads up for those of you like me who watch Scrubs, but have no interest in Friends or W&G. Scrubs will be in the Good Morning Miami time slot for whatever reason tonight.

The lineup (this is for Central time zone, so just do the math for your zone)
7:00 - Friends (new)
7:30 - Friends (repeat)
8:00 - Will & Grace (new)
8:30 - Scrubs (new)

Are there fans of GMM or are there just people too lazy to change the station between W&G and ER?

Obviously a repeat of some episode of "Friends" that probably first aired a few months ago is more important than a new episode of "Scrubs".... friggin' network idiots...

It's about time that they have another episode on.

And by the way NBC, a lot of us would rather watch a rerun of Scrubs than a damn rerun of Friends! We don't need one hour of Friends! 30 minutes is plenty!

Word! I think that Scrubs has a very high re-watchability factor. Hell, when I watch a new episode on tape I rewind Dr. Cox's speeches 4 or 5 times!

Same goes for Scrubs getting a ratings boost from Friends.

GMM returns on the 27th. I prefer it over Scrubs.

Damnit! Can't we have a normal Thursday where all I have to record is Without a Trace instead of the networks trying to out do each other with "supersized" Friends followed the next week with a 90 min CSI.

NBC, listen up! We don't care for an hour long Friends. It's old; and we've probably seen the episode countless times already. Give us a new Scrubs every night (or atleast every Thursday night) and we'll be happy.

Scrubs if one of my favorite shows to watch, luckily my TIVO will pick it up wherever it is on the schedule.

My guess is that NBC felt that scrubs would do poor against Survivor and Michael Jackson, and would have a better shot later in the evening.

You serious? Does that work the same way with DirecTivo's too?

Thanks for the update.

This is probably my favorite show, but I haven't had a chance to see a single Season 2 episode. Every week I am either out on Thursday, or I turn on NBC and some other show is on, etc.

I thought it was good. I liked the scene with JD checking on Jordan when she takes the water bottle and whips it at Dr. Donna and all you hear is "Ow my face"

Yes. That has always been a basic feature of TiVo's Season Pass. TiVo can also be set to automatically record any film by a certain director, any program/movie with a certain actor/actress (including guest appearances), any program that matchs a certain keyword, etc.

I am so glad Christa Miller ditched Drew Carey's show for this fine piece of entertainment.

by the way, excellent episode, though we had to wait long enough for it!
