I'll bet the "cliffhanger" will have something to do with time travel.

I'm looking for a small (productive) farm to bet on that one.

Lol. After all this bitching, does anyone one actually think Berman has any new "twists" left in him? If he had any new ideas he would have used them a long time ago.

Why bet? I'm willing to state - as FACT - that the "twist" will be time travel.

Berman will move the "Enterprise" crew to the 24th century. There's no question about it. It's a move that's just desperate enough and obvious enough that I don't believe he can resist it.

And as per usual, we'll get a 2-parter that's all wind-up and no follow-through. The cliffhanger will be well-paced and hold lots of tantalizing promise and then part 2 will be a hum-drum wrap-up, maintaining the status quo, and shuffling any of the interesting loose ends under the rug.

Same day, same ****.

What's this now about the Easter Bunny?

Personally, I would love to see Grunter's idea come to pass, but just like das, I'm not holding my breath on anything big or important actually happening.

As a side note: I subscribe to Star Trek Communicator and they claim (to paraphrase): "any canon errors occuring in Enterprise can be directly linked to the timeline being totally altered by the Borg events in First Contact".

To which my response is:

…and my response is, if it isn’t already obvious, they haven’t Clue One about how to deal with time paradoxes. (My actual response will be filtered out by the cuss word blocker. But Penn & Teller have a series using the same word.)

I could do a whole page on it, but will restrain myself.

That Braga TNG episode- Parallels has become the basis for every single "Time Travel" show to take place afterwards.

Now if there's any possibility of a paradox they explain it away as an alternate universe, timeline, what have you. Lame.

I think it's a really sad day when the plot of show like Sliders, is better at something than "Trek".

A British magazine has spilled the beans on what the "big" change is for Enterprise:

Spoiler:
Enterprise will reportedly embark on a new mission into a Bermuda Triangle-like area of space in the season finale, according to spoilers which recently emerged online. British science fiction magazine DreamWatch reported the NX-01 will head into a "dangerous area of space" against the advice of the Vulcans in "The Expanse". The reason for this course change is said to be part of an effort to stop "a new alien race from wiping out life on Earth".

This new voyage for the Enterprise crew won't be a complete departure from the show's previous storylines, with the magazine reporting the plot will be related to the Temporal Cold War story arc, which has been part of the series since "Broken Bow". The article indicated some new recurring characters may appear in season three as part of these developments.

According to previous rumours about "The Expanse", the NX-01 will be called back home after a devastating attack on Earth. Captain Archer will reportedly renew his relationship with a woman called Rebecca while on Earth, only to tell her his new mission will take him away for a long time.

Spoiler:
Star Trek Voyager meets Babylon 5: Crusade?

This isn't the big change I was hoping for.

Please, oh please, don't compare the two franchises. Even in jest.
