Most Successful Post Reality Show gigs
There have been some people who appeared in the current crop of reality shows that want to parlay that into film or acting careers. Sure, many people take their money/humilation and fade into obscurity but other want to milk their 15 minutes into something more.
Who do you think have been most successful.
Some ground rules:
1). It has to be a reality show from up to 10 years ago i.e. Real World to now.
2). They cannot be B- Celebrities before appearing on the show i.e. celebrity editions of the Mole, etc.
3). Appearing in commericals spoofing your appearance on the said reality shows generally do not count i.e. Richard Hatch with the snickers ad.
4). Appearing on talk shows talking about your appearance on said reality shows generally do not count i.e. Darva Conger on Larry King for the upteen time.
5). Soft-core porn or posing for Playboy/Playgirl counts for bonus points! Actually, I don't think that counts as success.
6). Please name the person or description of the person and what reality show they were on and what film/tv etc they have done to make them successful.
I'll start.
Tamara Gray - American Idol 1 - guest star on Boston Public.
Kelly Clarkson - same #1 single and upcoming movie with Justin
Justin - movie with Kelly and the singing tour.
Colleen - from Survivor 1 - appeared in the movie The Animal
Keith Famke - from Survivor Austrialia - has a show on the Food Network
Lindsey- from Real World Seattle - I saw her as an entertainment correspondant for CNN Headline News.
Tek - from REal World Hawaii - appeared in guest spots i.e. last weeks Friends episode
Eric from Real World Season 1 in NY -appeared in various things for MTV
That red/orange headed chick from Temptation Island 1 - was an MTV VJay.
I have seen people on various other shows i.e. Darva in celebrity boxing, the runner-up to BigBrother 1 on BlindDate, or Susan Hawke from Survivor1, Kaya from Temptation Island 1 and someone else on the cannonball run show which aired on USA network.
Kaya was also on Weakest Link.
Various people have posed nude or done soft-core porn but I will leave that to the most desparate attempt to squeeze more than 15 minutes of fame thread
Those are just some of the people off the top of my head. Please add yours to the list. Maybe we can take a poll.

I don't really consider American Idol a reality show, but since you did I guess I will. Kelly has to be the most famous. Tek has also done alot of stuff. He also had a costarring role in the movie Van Wilder. I guess these are the two most successful. Gervase or whatever from Survivor 1 was also pretty successful. He got that soft drink ad campaign a couple of years ago.

Isn't Tamara Gray going to be a regular on "Boston Public"? That's what the ads indicate. "Joins the cast"
Didn't Richard Hatch host the daily version of "The Weakest Link"? Or was that abandoned. I did see an episode of that show with the original survivor cast.
You're right though, these reality shows are all about trying to get your "big break" more than actually competing in the game.

Elizabeth Filarski (now something else, after her wedding) from Survivor 2 has a show on TLC, I think. Some sort of show about fashion for less.

I believe RIchard Hatch was on a celebrity edition of Link when it was still in primetime w/ Anne Robinson hosting.
