I actually watched this last night and the best parts were when they showed clips from the shallow/superficial people who were "NOT" hot crying their eyes out. The best was at the end when the guy w/ the huge forehead was balling his eyes out and wiping away the tears while telling people to never give up their dreams. What a freaking *****!
This show is kind of funny though. Jessica (pic above) has got an awful boob job - I am sorry but she looks kind of creepy. The hottest chick in my mind was the 18-year old from Colorado(?) w/ the long blonde hair and the great body, imo. I can't believe she was cut... |

Howard Stern has filed a lawsuit against ABC over 'Are you Hot?"
Stern sues ABC over 'Hot' show Friday, March 14, 2003 Posted: 11:13 AM EST (1613 GMT) LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Howard Stern has sued ABC and the producers of the series "Are You Hot? The Search for America's Sexiest People," claiming the show is based on ideas that aired on his radio program. The lawsuit, filed Thursday in Superior Court, accuses the network of copying "unique aspects" of a Stern radio segment in which members of his crew and guests evaluate the bodies of in-studio contestants. Stern is seeking $100 million in damages. The 49-year-old radio personality claims ABC's show duplicates some tactics used on his show, including blunt criticism of contestants and the use of a laser pointer to highlight areas of their bodies. "Are You Hot?" features contestants in various stages of dress posing in front of three panelists who rate them solely on looks. The show is produced by Scott Einziger, a former executive producer of Stern's E! cable show, and former Stern sidekick Jackie Martling is listed as a consultant. Before ABC's program debuted, Stern was in talks to develop a TV series based on his radio segment, according to the lawsuit. He planned to broadcast the show possibly on a pay-cable channel that wouldn't be subject to censorship. But when ABC aired "Are You Hot?" talks for a Stern TV show collapsed, the lawsuit said. Stern says he warned the network that the series would be a "misappropriation," but ABC disregarded him. |
What's sadder? That the show is on the air, or that Stern wants a piece of the action?
