Voyagers! - The TV Series
The writing on this show was exceptional, considering you had two or more historical events going on per episode - but one thing puzzled me.
Their outfits.
At the start of each episode, they always appeared with Bogg in his pirate outfit, and Jeffrey in his red and white-striped tee-shirt. This should have been the standard whenever they appeared in any time-zone.
However, after the start of the episode, they get into whatever's wrong with history, and they don the latest threads of the day so they can blend. Example: they landed on the Titanic in their typical outfits, but in order to not look like a 2nd Class Passenger, Bogg found a tuxedo. Then, when the going got rough, they pressed the omni and split - to the time of Louis Pasteur. Problem I saw was, Bogg still had the tuxedo on!
Otherwise, terrific show. Even Jeffrey's wining is tolerable if put in the proper context - his parents died, so he cries about it. Hell, the show had a lot of heart and sensitivity. It also was filled with intelligence, and makes you wonder why such a great show was cancelled after just one season.
Has "Voyagers" been renewed, would Jon-Erik Hexum still be alive today? Wonders never cease.
