8 Simple Rules 1/28--John Ritter Fans Watch It! (Spoilers)

Tonight's episode should be pretty hilarious for John Ritter fans. Check it out:

Spoiler:
After discovering that boyfriend Kyle kissed Kerry at a party, Bridget gives her sister the silent treatment – which is anything but quiet for Paul. But real life merges with fantasy when Paul has a dream that lands him in familiar territory, showing Kyle as a swinging bachelor living with Paul's two beautiful daughters in an apartment straight out of the ‘70s. The set of the classic comedy "Three's Company" was recreated down to the last detail for this episode.

You'll have to wait until 10 am Saturday if you rely on Channel 7 in DC.

They are really pissing me off now. They messed up their Super Bowl HD coverage. They are not airing Jimmy Kimmel. Now they are airing some local feel-good program instead of 8 Simple Rules tonight. Why can't they do it on a Friday or Saturday night when nobody is watching their station to begin with.

Does ABC Family repeat 8 Simple Rules like they do Bonnie and Less Than Perfect?

This was REALLY funny. I normally don't like gimmick episodes, but I loved the way they completely mocked the Three's Company formula, and Rory was in perfect form tonight. I should be used to it by now, but it really surprises me how funny this show is. Kyle's a great character, so I'm glad it appears he'll be sticking around for a while.

Btw, they seem to have dropped the whole Larry Miller office-life angle of the show.

Kyle did a pretty good job. They haven't shown Larry Miller for awhile. He is Kyle's dad though. I enjoyed seeing Don Knotts.

This was really funny. As a Three's Company fan it was fun to see the set recreated. Well done.

Well, that was the first ep. of this show I've seen.
It will also be the last.

I just tuned in for the Three's company parody, but it seems like a sitcom with an ongoing soap opera plot.

He was in bed with John!

Funny episode. I had never seen this show but wanted to see how they were going to spoof TC. The girls did a good job doing Chrissy and Janet. Katey was good at playing Mrs. Roper.

For what it's worth, you should give the show another try, as the Three's Company ep wasn't one of the better ones.

I'm not a fan of sitcoms, but this show generally cracks me up.......

I finally got to see this episode as ABC rebroadcast it tonight. F-ing hysterical! John Ritter did a great job impersonating Mr. Roper. Rory plays a great Larry.
