Crossing Jordan 1/13
 

Anyone watching this? I'm trying to figure out who in the hell the black woman is that Jordan was trying to get to help her do the rollplay thing....but she wouldn't do it....I know her from somewhere but can't figure it out!!! :grunt:

although the worst part is that i don't even recognize anything she's ever been in....just one of those character actors i've seen somewhere i guess....

that said....is this show losing it's luster or is it just me? This is the first i've caught it this year, but it was pretty so-so compared to last year....

I would guess you recognize Toussaint from numerous <I>Law & Order</I> eps. They also promoted the hell out of her when <I>Any Day Now</I> premiered a few years back. She's been on the show all season, and for the most part, is a pretty worthless character.

As someone who never thought it had much luster to begin with, I think the show's about where it was last year. It's never been good, or even close to good, but the characters are interesting. I like Bug and Nigel, and Jordan's good eye-candy. Last week they tried to do a <I>C.S.I.</I>-style (I use the term loosely since <I>C.S.I.</I> stole that from <I>The A-Team</I> anyway ;))evidence gathering montage with music, and it was really pathetic.

Still, there's absolutely nothing on Mondays at 10pm, so I watch it. It kills time.

I agree....It lost its fun way from the early part of the
first season. Too much focus on Jordans mothers death.

My favorite part of the first season was how sneaky
she was. That fun liitle grin she had when she duped
someone. We do not see that anymore.

Though I like the character development. Its not
neatly tied together with the story of the week.
This whole season is kind of thrown out there
in pieces.
