Glory kicked ass....and was hot to boot. I also have a little thing for Drusilla...that accent drives me wild...

Angelus and Faith:drool: were great also.

palebluedot 12-28-02 03:37 PM

Bring back Doug Neidermeyer! My favorite villain!

I loved the episodes with her and Spike (when he was bad)

movielib 12-28-02 11:41 PM

What is a "villian?"

Draven 12-29-02 12:33 AM

The Mayor, with Bad-Faith and Angelus tied for second.

I liked Sweet a lot as well.

PatD 12-29-02 03:10 AM

I prefer the Buffy villians with a humorous edge--

The Troika--not the most effective villians, but they were funny as hell. (Well Jonathan and Andrew were. Warren was actually kind of eerie throughout the show).

Mayor Wilkins--"I'd sell my soul for a good backswing. But I guess its too late for that. How about yours?" Harry Groener was superb.

Others: Mr. Trick, Glory, Harmony the Bimbo Vampire, Sweet, and Principal Snyder (he counts, right?)

Favorite non-humorous villian: Doc (mainly cause I like Joel Grey).

Hi,
the Master. Funny & scary. I wish Team Whedon had waited until Buffy had settled in do make him the show's big bad. The guys from Hush also stand out and the creepy worm guy.

First and foremost would have to be Darla, especially in the little school girl outfit. The only sad thing is that she is married to the voice of the Crypt Keeper.

Second would have to be Glorificus, I can actually put together four (4) degree of separation between the actress and myself.

SuperJim88 12-29-02 07:35 PM

It would have to be Buffy.......!!

Look at her evil eyes......

Tom Banjo 12-30-02 08:10 AM

I second Dark Willow.
Also, the vampire Willow and Xander from The Wish gets a big  That was just too cool.

cooper2000 12-30-02 09:41 AM

I think it was in Season 3. it was a Big Sloth Monster that it's Minions were scooping some type of stuff on it. I think Buffy and Faith killed it. I also remember Buffy saying something like, boy do we need a Stairmaster.
Can someone help me with what episode it is?

Other than that, I liked Angelus and Faith.

Troika? They werent villians. Screen fillers but not villians. Lame!

writteninstars 01-01-03 02:26 PM

Glory.

"Funny. 'Cuz I look around at this world you're so eager to be a part of, and all I see is six billion lunatics looking for the fastest train out. Who's not crazy? Look around: everyone's drinking, smoking, shooting up... shooting each other... or just plain screwing their brains out 'cause they don't want 'em anymore. I'm crazy? Honey, I'm the original one-eyed chicklet in the Kingdom of the Blind. 'Cuz at least I admit the world makes me nuts."

Another uh, "thumb" up for Dark Willow.

Johnny W. 01-03-03 04:34 AM

As stated, without a doubt it would have to be Glory! Clair Cramer is so fine I can't even put it into words!

Second would be Angelus. The whole Buffy/Angel storyline was just a classic tragic love story done to perfection.

That would be the demon Balthazar, from the Season 3 episode "Bad Girls". :)

And I don't know who my favorite VILLAIN is. Dark Willow was probably the biggest badass. I thought the troika were hilarious, but the Mayor was the "coolest" villain, IMHO.

Thank you, Xander.

Finally someone spelled the word correctly.:)

Pointyskull 01-03-03 12:09 PM

If Faith  counts, I'd pick her, but for pure villainy:

Glory :hump:

She was smoking hot, evil, sarcastic and vain.
What more could you ask for.

Dark Willow is tied for second with The Mayor

PatD 01-04-03 12:18 AM

How about Collin, "The Annointed One"? I know he was killed by Spike, but I was wondering how much of fearsome threat he would be if he hadn't been killed.

Plus, that kid was just plain creepy.

NitroJMS 01-04-03 11:12 AM

Since I've only seen seasons 1 and 2 thus far since I'm watching it for the first time on DVD, I'm gonna have to say Drusilla. :)

maiana 01-04-03 03:00 PM

Just an offshoot here but...

I was watching an episode of Mad About You and noticed that the mayoral candidate that Jamie was working for is the same actor who played the evil mayor on Buffy. Just thought that was interesting : )

madcougar 01-05-03 08:49 PM

As a latecomer to Buffy, I would have answered Glory until two weeks ago when UPN rebroadcast the Dark Willow story.

CaptainMarvel 02-02-03 03:02 PM

The Syphilis Indians from Season 4. ;)

Truthfully, easily the Spike/Dru/Angelus trio... although Sweet was nice.

Dr. DVD 02-02-03 04:22 PM

Angelus rocked!

Lateralus42 02-03-03 11:42 AM

The Mayor Ruled! His paternal love for Faith gave him a nice human quality.

spainlinx0 02-03-03 12:11 PM

As of right now I'm going to say the mayor because I loved every scene he was in.

Derrich 02-03-03 01:50 PM

Dark Willow cuz
a:she's hot
b:she beat down EVERYONE (except Xander)
c:she said out loud what everyone was thinking about Dawn..and Buffy...and Giles
d:she's hot

I kind of liked Angelus - just because of this line: "I love you too" - read very sarcastically.

Oh and I really liked Darla - mainly because she was so hot - much hotter than Glory.

Don't forget how he killed Jenny Calendar. One of the cruelest deaths I've ever seen on a TV show. Sick.

Pillowhead 02-03-03 06:08 PM

Who is Sweet?

My Favs. Dark Willow, Glory, and Angelus.
