The Simpsons 12/22

did i hear wrong or did the ad say all new simpsons?

rerun again :(

movieking 12-22-02 07:05 PM

Definitely a rerun. I just watched it a few hours ago. There are virtually no new shows on during the Christmas week.

I saw a preview for a Christmas one the other day on tv and I thought that was going to be the one shown tonight. Anyone know when the Christmas episode is being shown?

If it's been as crappy as the last few simpsons christmas episodes, then they could keep it. :p

This episode sucks. I don't like episodes that focus on Lisa. Her character has no comedic value and is there to create conflicts for episodes that end up being morality tales. I have no problem with episodes with a moral, I just don't like Lisa as a vehicle for the moral.

Saw it last year, saw it again this year. The best part is Ralph and Milhouse as the Pony...

Gotta love Ralph! rotfl

This episode is a perfect example of what's wrong with the celebrity cameo aspect of the Simpsons. In the past, Richard Gere would have played the part of a caretaker at the buddist temple, rather than a cheap and meaningless walk on as himself.

Here's hoping Russell Crowe and Tugger film the next episode of "Fighting Round the World" in Springfield. :)

Good point jason, but their has been a lot of celeb cameo's which were walk on's and still were good. Look at the vegan episode with lisa with Paul. The episode was even funny. And being a LISA episode, that's saying a lot!
