Wow, there's a lot of threadcrapping going on here. If you're not a fan of the show, why even bother to read the thread, let alone post in it?
As for the show, I guess everyone's expecting Ross and Rachel to finally get married for the finale. This season is definitely a step-up from last season, and I hope they can maintain the quality for one more year. I'd hate to see it tarnished with a bad last season, like "Seinfeld" and "Roseanne". http://charliegoose.homestead.com/files/goose.jpg Honk! |

At this point I won't be convinced it's over until Joey and Phoebe get married. Apparently this whole "could be the last season" thing has been an evil scheme to keep me watching. I probably wouldn't have given it much of a chance last year because the previous season was so awful. Last season was pretty good, but I'm not too sure about this season. If we could only figure out some way to off the entire Gellar family, I think that just may solve all the problems that make the show irritating.

Originally posted by DarthMarklar I would say the thread suggests good and bad responses. Maybe if the title was "Who else is excited about the return of Friends for another season", then I can see your point, but the title just says that it's returning, which means (IMHO) "what are your thoughts? - good or bad" Exactly. I didn't say anything negative until someone said that 'Friends does not suck like Frasier does now." |
Put me in the club glad to see it back for another year. People always want to see something go away, just so they can lament on how much they miss it.
And we can't be surprised on the threadpooping. This forum is full of constipated posters who can't wait to spread their cheeks on a popular show like Friends. |
I'll still be watching it. Don't care what others think. :D
|
Of course they wait half way through this season to announce this.
I think it was a big marketing ploy all along to get people to watch because it was the "Last Season." Oh brother! End the show already and Frasier too. |
Originally posted by Kal Jedi I'll still be watching it. Don't care what others think. :D With the X-Files gone, Buffy leaving, and almost no really good comedies to be found elsewhere, I'm grateful it will be back. I would decribe this show as comfortable and comforting. I can count on Friends and Ed every week to lighten up what it usually a stressful day and I think there's nothing wrong with a television show doing that. |

I love Friends....it could go forever...Joey has become the best character (best lines at least)
|
Whatever happened with this year being their last year?Does this mean they are not ready to go on to other roles?
It's not like they are poor actors, they get paid $1 million a episode.plus they get money from all those reurns on all the time in syndication. . |

great news
I still haven't watched one ep of "Friends" that's ok. I guess many of haven't seen "Good Times" either  |
Friends is okay. Don't watch it much because the British counterpart "Coupling" is so much funnier and raunchier.
