Thankfully they didnt leave us with a huge cliffhanger at the end of this episode....

THREE WEEKS?!??!

Was that a missle that hit the plane? You hear a noise right before the explosion. If so, who knows enough to be shooting at that particular plane?
I really wish they'd beat the writer of Kim around the head and neck with a blunt object for awhile. That storyline occasionally makes me yell at my TV ;) |
Christmas Eve next Tuesday, New Year's Eve the following Tuesday. It'll be tough to wait that long, but it's not an unexpected wait. Besides haven't the first 8 episodes all aired one week after the other with no breaks?
|
i still think that daughter #2 is involved somehow because reza is too obvious and the dad was introduced too early. she would have access to his records and she could very easily be setting reza up to take the fall.

I personally liked this episode.
But my god, did anyone else just yell "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE GOING TO TELL HIM, I KNOW YOU ARE, YOU FOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!" at Kim? Also, the missile hitting the jet was less of a "holy s***!" moment and more of a "holy f***!!!" |
Breakfast - I wasn't yelling, but I certainly was wincing when Kim started to have her usual hesitant look before she spilled her guts to the cop. -wink-
The only thing about this episode that I wasn't too crazy about was them showing so much of the terrorist's side of the story. I don't mind glimpses, but the whole plotline the terrorists are having theselves makes me cringe at what weirdness will come next with that. |
I thought it was a solid ep.
The Nina thing was pretty obvious in coming. Someone needs to :johnwoo: Kim. Jack is going to wind up shooting these FBI agents if they keep getting in his way. I'm not sure if that was a missle or just an explosion. |
Wholly ****!
We got bombs/missiles hitting the plane, Nina killing a guy w/ a calling card, the father guy revealing he's a CIA agent, and the daughter of the guy getting kidnapped! There's more plot twists in this episode alone than there is in a season of most shows! Plus you have the reporter guy who got out. I thought this was a great episode, btw. |
There was a three week break at about this time last year. I seem to remember that it either happened right after Gates told Jack to kill Nina and we got that cool switcheroo w/ the vest (how many times has he kicked himself for that move?), or else it showed that was coming in the previews. In any case, the three-week wait nealy drove me bonkers.
Wonder if Nina already knew how to do that with her training, or picked it up in Federal Prison? The recent dearth of dramatic moments kind of got made up for tonight, didn't it? |
So, let's see -- your dad is a anti-terrorist specialist, there's a nuclear bomb about to explode in L.A. and he's the only man who can find it, and YOU KNOW THIS, yet your first instinct is to whine at him to come bail you out of jail because you're too much of a dumbass to handle an abused child situation properly? :johnwoo: Kim indeed! ARGH!
|
Yeah, the Kim story is getting more and more out there - she should realize that Jack is better off trying to stop the bomb so that everyone wins - but oh well.
The terrorist POV is I think a bad move - mainly because now we know who has the bomb. Sorta. Also, I didn't think the terrorist having second thoughts at the last moment was believable - esp. post 9/11. Looks like all signs are now pointing to the plan originating from a faction within the government/CIA/NSA - and the CIA guy may be unwittingly working for them. This would tie into the conspiracies that Palmer is seeing and those guys who jump daughter 1. This would also explain the missile (if thats what we all heard) that hits the plane. |
Wouldn't it be something if Jack actually DIED in the next episode? Nobody would have seen THAT coming ;)

What a great episode, close to the best one thus far. Can't wait until 3 weeks when we see what the hell is going on here!

Can someone please tell me
1)What exactly was on the dad's computer??..All we saw was morris code sh** 2) Who and why was the good looking daughter kidnapped?? Cheers!!! |

[B]Good looking?? Well she`s better looking then the other airhead sister How about answering the question?? |
If we knew why she was kidnapped, they wouldn't bother using it as one of the episode-ending cliffhangers.

I wonder what cause that explosion on the plane??
|
Holy s**t that was a great episode. The only thing that could have made it better was if the cop beat Kim over the head with a stick multiple times. I think Jack would have been better off telling her to just tell everyone in LA about the nuke and maybe then she'd shut up about it. As to what's on the computer all I could ascertain was that he had govt codes on his computer which points to the fact that he does in fact consult with the CIA. The computer went into an auto-delete program before they could actually read any of the files. As to the kidnapping situation:

I think the father is clueless of what is going on. Remember he is only a conduit for the CIA. (At least that is what he is claiming.) When the detective agency tripped the trojan virus to purge info from the laptop, I'll bet it alerted a governement agency (NSA perhaps?) which prompted the kidnapping.... That is my theory..

What happened between Reza and Mason? I turned away from the television for 30 seconds, all of a sudden they were in a rumble?
