Did i just hear mo**er-fu**er on Comedy Central???

Dogma just started on Comedy Central as I was flipping thru channels.

Jay says to Fiorentino "I just saved you and (what sounded like) mo**er-fu**er here (SBob) from those hockey players". He says the line kinda quickly, but it sure sounded like it.

Did I really just hear that on Comedy Central?

Is that the actual line in the unedited movie?

I don't recall exactly, but it sure sounds like it could be a line from the movie. Is it just me, or is TV getting much more, shall we say, unrestrained? I know CC is technically a cable channel, but even the networks are similar--last night on Fox's MadTV, which has always kinda been 'trashy' [yet still, IMHO, about ninethousand times funnier than the last decade of SNL], there was a skit about a guy who was using Viagra.....let's just say, the effects were very visible...He was walking through his office, bumping into people and knocking stuff off desks with his, er, appendage. I guess I shouldn't expect much less from the fine folks who gave us 'Sex Toy Story.'
And yes, it is on late at night, but any given Jerry Springer or 'reality show' episode has stuff I don't want my kid to be watching.

From what I recall, Cable channels can show what they want - as long as the Advertisers allow it. And networks are allowed to show pretty much anything from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with exception of hardcore pornography.

I could be off on this, but the last FCC "Requirements" had the 10-6 thing stated.

Well, this was at 6PM ET, and every other bit of colorful language was quite noticably over-dubbed.

If I heard what I think I heard, then it was quite obviously a 'mistake', be it intentional or unintentional......

Hilarious."Don't make me have to funk you up"
These edits are funnier than what is really said in the movie. And that CC thing you probably heard it wrong it was probably an edit that sounded like mother f*****.

I was watching "The Big Hit" on TBS the other week (yes, I know), and I could swear I heard them say....

"That's bull--*censored*-- man, don't F**CK with me!"

So perhaps they just.... "missed a spot"?

Yippy-kae-ae.... Mr Falcon

On USA, the edits in Nothing to Lose were hilarious.

"You've got a funny way of not robbing a mother****er" was changed to:

"You need to brush up on your consumer etiquette."

I thought that was skit was pretty funny, all of last weekends show had me laughing. When I then started watching SNL, with Britney Murphy, it bored me to tears.

Was in NYC a few years ago, and flicked on the TV. There wasn't much on, so found myself watching the ending of Die Hard II. At the point of John McLane saying "Yippe-kay-yae Mother Fu**er" (He's just flipped a lighter on the fuel on the runway to blow up the 747), the words were replaced with "Yippe-kay-yae Mister Flickter". I thought I was watching a German dubbed channel.

I don't know the exact quote but I know that its not MF...it's mighty duck as in the hockey team. I'm sure someone on here will quote it word for word.

I remember seeing Jackie Brown on a flight, and couldn't help laughing out loud at the multiple "you mother-father"s.
