Great episode.
Tony, when you're done with Valentina...send her my way.
I am nothing like Ralph....
Carmela was great in this episode. Furio better watch out...and if he does go along with the whole idea, he better keep it on the down low.

This was more of a "classic" Sopranos episode from Season 1.
Could Tony look any more unhappier in some of those scenes?
Valentina
could be trouble for Tony (he does love his brunettes).
Will Tony confront Carmela about money?
Will Furio be stupid enough to give into his feelings for Carmela?
Will Christopher be smart enough to burn that pillow case?

The girl who plays Valentina used to be Maria on the first three seasons of "Head of the Class." She sure grew up to be a major hottie. Not that she wasn't hot back then, but now.......WOW!

I loved the part where the principal gets chased by those two guys in his own school of all places! rotl
Also, Carmela and Tony both know about each others antics; that look they had at the end put it all to rest for each of them. Carmela is pretty smart in only investing $9900 at a time; looks like she is learning something after all.

So was it just me or did Tony really say: "penisary contact" to melfi??!??!?
and silvio: ".....he beat one to death for...uh....why was that again?" Classic
This was a great episode....all the set-up is starting to pay off as i figured it would....I would imagine we're in for some good stuff in coming weeks....

Great episode!
It does look as though all the build-up happening so far this season will be paying off in the coming weeks.
BTW, the picture of himself that Paulie gave his mom was hilarious.

I liked a lot about the episode and a lot of the comedy was great (the lines mentioned above, Ralphie's whole thing, and the olives too!) and Valentina is a damn fox!
But... a few things get on my nerves a bit - the whole Furio falling for Carmela bit, I just don't buy it, and I don't think Furio would ever dare actually fall for her. And the whole bit with Paulie's mom... never did much for me. Oh yeah, and again, the lack of Meadow
However, there's too much about the show to love to get down on it. As always, can't wait 'til next week! (I must add, though, that after watching this week's CYE after The Sopranos, CYE is now my favorite show on TV!)

Looks like I'm in the minority here. Bickering old ladies? Stories about Ralphie's masochism? More grief from Carmela about money? This season is officially over for me.

Another very good episode. Next week looks to be when this season is going to kick it into high gear.
I guess Furio could love Carmela in that forbidden fruit sense, but that would be pretty lame. She has always been nothing but nice to him though. I'm sure they'll be explaining this in the near future.

Is it just me or is Tony getting awfully "spendy" lately? The portrait of Pie-Oh-My, the diamonds for Valentina, not to mention the sweet-ass home theatre system (nice popcorn machine!). And who knew he was such a big Pink Floyd fan?
Oh yeah, if Carmela even mentions money again, after what she did, she deserves whatever happens to her.

Cmon guys! Are we watching the same show? This episode sucked! I mean if you want a good episode, put in the Season 3 DVD and watch the Pine Barrens episode.
I have been a huge fan of this show since Day 1, but this season is weak. Too many subplots, too much BS....I need to hear about Paulie's mom like I need a barium enema. All everyone says each week is that they are setting it up for future episodes. Cmon....This is weak...I love watching it, dont get me wrong, but this show has lost its luster IMHO.

I think the fact that Valentina was Maria on Head of the Class has made this my favorite episode of all time. It's almost as if you're watching late episodes of "Who's the Boss?" and thinking Alyssa Milano's kind of good looking, but wondering how good looking, and then seeing her naked-- oh, nevermind.
I've always thought the show had almost too many things going on-- characters appearing and disappearing, only to come back much later. It makes it a rich experience, but I don't see how it all can get resolved. Kind of like a Neal Stephenson book-- and I mean that as high praise.

This girl actually looks a lot like the woman who committed suicide (at least clothes and figure wise). Maybe Tony's getting a second shot?
One thing I like: Tony is SO much calmer now (I guess thanks to his therapy). If it was Tony from Season One, I think he would have beaten Carmella, or at least got in a huge argument. Now he even seemed somewhat amused. I'm interested to see where this goes.
