mind of the married man-HBO

Wow, I did a search and the last I saw was a post on 10/13. To me this show seems to be getting better every week.

This week:
**Spoiler**
I like that Donna is being friskee (sp?) and calling the overseas guy. It adds a lot to the story, a different perspective. I'm really getting into how the whole Jake and Missy thing is going to turn out.
**End Spoiler**

I've been married for over 6 years now and can relate to a lot of what Mickey has been going through. I heard he helps write the shows, he knows what's going on in married guy's heads.

Even more than that ... it's Mike Binder's baby: writing, directing, producing, everything. They bring in others to help work on the show, but he's the man, and the show runs through him.

Personally, I think the show is brilliantly insightful, much like Sex and the City, but with a different style of presentation. I like how they're starting to focus a bit more on Jake's and Doug's marriages. I think the show works nicely when contrasting the three different relationships. It should be interesting to see where they go with this new Donna sub-plot.

This is one of my favorite shows. Every week is very well-written.

i watched this for the 1st time last night and it's good but rather depressing! i have to say, from a woman's view it makes you not want to get married. the fact that it seems to be more of a hindrance for all those involved doesn't make for a very positive outlook.
