I really liked this episode. I am glad that Fox is showing a bit of faith in this show. I don't think that it will ever be in the Top 20, but it is a solid show that could garner a cult following.

I think they slur Mardarin and Cantonese Chinese together to get whatever they speak when they get agitated with each other.

If it's Mardarin they are speaking, the actors are butching it badly because I can barely understand them.

When Kaylee says to Malcom "Shey Shey" it is probably "Thank you" that she's telling them, and that is Mardarin.

They would also use that in Taiwan, yes? It's the only phrase I took back from my 3 weeks there.

Yup, Taiwan also has both Mandarin and Cantonese spoken there.

Cantonese just befuddles me, my mom will speak it with some her old friends, and I feel like when my friends hear my parents speak to me in Mandarin (clueless).

I thought the episode was pretty good. I already consider this show one of my favorites.

I hope it survives.

I really do like this show and it probably has to do with it being different than everything else out there. I like the fact they aren't out to save the world, because beleive it or not I don't think this is how most people think. I do not go into work everyday and say this is the day I save the company. I like it cause it just mosies along. Just one guys opinion.
