Arliss Receives walking papers after eight seasons

I read on E! last night that Arliss is getting cancelled. I have look at HBO website and it says nothing also checked Eonline and it says nothing there either. Anybody else hear this? I do think this show is funny at times but it is probably time to let it go.

I hope they plan to put the seasons on DVD, this was a series I enjoyed on HBO pre-Sopranos. The stories have gotten weak though the last couple of seasons.

Was that SNL spoof the final nail in the coffin?

They suggested Arliss on DVD for people with bladder control problems since they would be in no danger of soiling themselves or laughing.

If the name weren't already taken, you could call it the best damn sports show on tv ... period. If only they'd stop preempting it for golf all the damn time.

Sweet, hopefully they come up with a new series to take its place. One of the few poor quality shows on HBO....

Arli$$ was funny way back in the day but it jumped the shark a long time ago. Thankfully HBO if finally putting it out of its misery!
