Yup, I remember watching this a few times. At first I thought you were referring to the Jeff Fahey tv show, The Marshall, from a few years back.

I can't understand why it was cancelled. It was a good show and i'm sure it got good ratings.

Sammo Hung won the ppl choice award for the show. probably due to the date and time slot and didnt drawn enough viewers.

It lasted more than one season. I only recall that because there was a major cast change, and some people, like that Latino guy, just disappeared.

I must admit, I enjoyed it at the time. I don't understand how that Don Johnson show outlasted Marshall Law, or even that Walker, Texas Ranger one, but I was sad to see it go.

It reappeared on TNN awhile ago. I don't think they air it anymore.

It lasted two seasons, with two almost completely different cast. I didn't think the show was great, but I did watch it because it was highly entertaining. But after they changed the cast and brought in Arsenio (solely in an effort to crib Rush Hour) the show stopped being as entertaining.

The title was "Martial Law", not "Marshall Law". Perhaps the play on words confused people. It was a pretty good show though.

Yeah. Marshal Law was this killer comic book by Nemesis creators Pat Mills and Kevin ONeill. Some of the best pre The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Hellboy stuff I've ever read.
