There's an unknown female in Reeg's chair. Whoa when did that happen? Was he sick or is this permanent?

Yeah. It's Merideth Viera (sp?) from The View. I think she took over this season. The only real reason I know this is because the one day I decided to go Mall hopping, they had auditions for the show and a huge bus with her HUGE face plastered all over it happened to be parked out front.

it happened when ABC over played the hell out of this show. It became worthless and was sold, not to mention the host changed because regis was getting tired of it.

I don't anyone wants to watch it. ABC really ran this show to the ground playing it almost every night. the ratings were high but they raped the hell out of it and really killed there product.

I thought Meredith Viera was the host of the syndicated (daytime) version of the show. It's not still on in Prime Time, is it?
das
P.S. And how can you not know who Meredith Viera is?

Correct. Although I believe ABC is planning on airing the show as specials later this season, similar to how they did it when the show first premiered. But it's not on the regular prime-time schedule on ABC.

This is the syndicated daytime version. I have been watching since it started a few weeks ago. I am really enjoying it. I had given up on the nighttime version long before it went off the air.
I prefer the daytime version, it moves so much faster. No fastest finger, and they got rid of the stupidly easy questions at the beginning. Plus it's only a half-hour.
Did anyone see the other day when that young military guy was on? I could not believe how Merideth Viera was flirting with him! She even called herself "a horny old woman".

The station I work for runs it, and Im loving it. Meredith Viera and that soldier dude were hilarious. Shes got spunk and I like how much faster it is than the ABC version. I hope Meredith gets the nod to host the primetime specials over Regis, shes excellent.

Meredith is awesome, she has a way of making everyone feel at ease. When I was in the hot seat she asked if I was OK that I seemed nervous. When I told her she made me feel comfortable and that they hired the right person to host the show she really seemed to enjoy the compliment. I hope the show runs a long time and I hope she gets to keep hosting.
