Thread naming convention - a plea from me

Can we stop putting the Date first, and then the Program name in these threads?

I think it'd be preferable if we titled threads:

Program Name - Date - (episode name optional).

The other way, date-program name ( which is how the the 2 current Survivor threads are name, are more of a pain to connect the shows together) just doesn't cut it for me (and maybe others).

Maybe you could beat everyone to the punch and start all the threads? :)

I think old threads should be locked as soon as the newer episode airs.

For instance, the 9/19 survivor thread should be locked and the 9/26 one should stay open until the 10/3 episode airs.

I've done it this way for my past 2 Sopranos threads:

The Sopranos 9/29/02 "Christopher"
The Sopranos 9/22/02 "No Show"

El Scorcho 09-27-02 11:50 AM

Can we use international date formats as well? 12 Sept 02 is much better than 9/12/02 -- which could confuse our buttheads overseas. ;)

I prefer

Name - Date - Optional Episode Name

as well, for reasons already brought up. However, I don't think we'll be enforcing any naming conventions on the forum... although it would be nice if everyone used them.

*cough* Survivor *cough* :D
