Wizdar rants: ENOUGH with the reality shows, already!
When, oh when, will this end? Has TV become so inane that this is the ONLY thing the big brains can sell any more?
Now, I know that many of you folks watch this stuff. Some of you even have the stones to admit to liking it. That’s just hunkey-dorey with me. But as long as you continue to tune in this drivel, it will continue to take precious air time away from…from…HELL, I donno, but surely SOMEthing interesting could fill those time slots!
Let’s have some courage and boycott this stuff. Consider das. doin’ what he considers to be The Lord’s Work by boycotting SciFi! Notice the effect he has made with his sacrafice. Well, maybe that’s not such a good example, but you get my drift.
Help me, boys ‘n’ girls! Let’s clear the airwaves for some REAL, umm, unreal TV!

Not sure I can handle another boycott. The task my Lord has appointed me with this Sci-Fi thing is more burden than I can bear. 
In truth, I don't believe that a reality show, in and of itself, is a bad thing. Frankly, some of them are incredibly good, e.g. Tough Enough I. Unfortunately, the quality of one or two is lost amongst all the other trash. And to be fair, that can be said about other genres of television programming as well (although admittedly not to this extent).
Anyway, I'm all for improving the quality of American television and laying off so many of these inane shows. However, I don't think reality programming is the only culprit, just the most annoying.

As long as Survivor remains (among network shows), they can get rid of the rest for all I care (although I will probably watch the next Bachelor). I'll miss Temptation Island though.

Its the summer.....this is what Summer TV has become, no longer the realm of re-runs, its original reality shows that rule the roost.
As long as they're entertaining, its better that burning off originals of a sitcom that got shitcanned for a reason.
I happen to enjoy The Mole 2 and BB3 very much.
