While I believe one can have this power...this guy does NOT.

I agree with you that he's taking advantage of people.

How about ...

Taking advantage of the *

Seriously, I've said this before, but while he may be fraudulent, I'm not sure I completely buy that he's hurting anyone (unless he's charging for services). Ad revenue for entertainment is certainly not a problem, so it comes down to whether giving people false security about something they cannot change nor can have concrete information about is harmful. I guess in this lifetime, there's nothing wrong with it, as no one could ever get confirmation that his information is false. However, someone could have a complaint if he tells him a loved one is happy in the afterlife, and upon dying, that person finds that said loved one is really burning in Hell. Tough call.

* Before some jackhole gives me ****, it's a freakin' joke. Deal with it.

Here are some links to start with:

The reading probably won't be that interesting, but enjoy nonetheless.

I can't bring myself to watch a minute of his show. I have tried in the past, but really, the things he tells people on his show means zip to me. I could get as much out of watching a test pattern. I could care less to watch him tell other people about personal things that only they care about. The fact that this show is still on baffles me.

I am not going to call the guy a hoax or for real, I don't know, and I don't really care. I never bought into psychic bs ever anyway. If somebody was able to tell me things like that and was able to tell me things I could only know, I might be inclined to think they had something, but would still be skeptical and think they talked to other people I knew. I believe in certain things of the supernatural, but only because I have experienced them first hand, but this mind reading trick this guy does is one thing I cannot buy.

Yeah, but you gotta admit that the pet psychic lady is legit. I mean, how else would she know what those dead animals are thinking? When she says, "Fido loves you and is so thankful that you made him part of your family," that's just freaky. How else can you explain her insight? She's obviously got some paranormal pet connection.

[three aisles up] My father used to smoke J's

I'm supposed to be with you. I'm seeing a birthday cake. *pause* Someone once had a birthday. Does this mean anything to you?

[tears] Yes, my father died on my best friend's mother's aunt's birthday.

Okay. You are the daughter of the deceased. Is that right?

[covers mouth, tears] Yes! Yes!

I'm seeing the letter O. Do you know an O?

[shakes head. looks confused]

Maybe someone's name starts with an O...sounds like O...maybe the person was shaped like O...

[gasps] My grandmother was incredibly fat! That might be an O.

Understand that the spirits communicate in symbols and I have to interpret them. When they show me an O, they mean a really fat broad. I'm seeing cake.

[nearly faints] My grandmother loved cake!

Is there something about a bra?

[audience laughs]

A big bra? What does that mean?

My father wore a bra and panties under his suits.

[John concentrates]

No, no. This is something less gay.

[woman suddenly starts]

My grandmother's bra! My sister and I used to make forts out of it!

The spirits are pulling back. Just know that your father and sister...

Grandmother...

Right...grandmother...are okay. Now who has a K sound. Anybody? K sound?

[gasp in the audience] My husbands name was Carlton!

I'm supposed to be with you...

Pvponline.com did a series of comics about this show. It was hilarious. Here's a link to the first comic:

Pvponline comic about Crossing Over

It goes on for 11-12 days or so. Just keep hitting the "next" button at either the top or bottom.
