Greatest Game Show Moments NBC 7/178pm
NBC is rerunning this. Funniest hour on regular tv this season. If you watch alot of game shows there are alot of new clips you may not have seen before.
It also has the airing of infamous "in the butt , Bob" incident from the Newlywed Game.
That alone is must see for a Game Show fan.
SORRY WRONG DATE IT AIRS WEDNESDAY 7/17

The one where a black contestant on Wheel of Fortune thought the solution to the puzzle was "Minors and Hoes" instead of "Fingers and Toes" was a riot.

There were actually SEVERAL "Press Your Luck" episodes before the producers caught on. Not much to see, since it's just a guy playing really well and getting very lucky (or so it seems).
I might have to catch it. I'd love to see the "Up the butt" clip.

Actually it wasn't several episodes. It was one episode they split into two because the guy kept on winning. The producers knew something was up, held his money after the show, and then finally gave it to him after they realized he hadn't done anything wrong.
I sure wish there was a movie about thiss guy

Apparently he blew all of that money and is now bankrupt...Read an article somewhere about that guy...Funny thing is, that I actually remember watching that show...They only showed it once, and it never re-aired...I feel priveleged.

This was back in April of 2002, and it's now expected to be a made for TV movie. Take that with a grain on NaCl, but it does sound like there are still plans to make some form of movie out of the ordeal.
And Bill murray would be perfect for that role: "I'm gonna press my luck, Peter"
Here's a little info on what apparently happened to the movie:

Sounds like Mandalay backed out and it was left looking for funds. Maybe that's where the TechTv link gets their "made for TV movie" speculation.....
