Bad pilot movies that spawned good tv shows.

I watched Forever Knight with Rick Springfield this weekend. (It was at the end of a tape I was watching and didn't realize it was on there). Well this movie really sucked. But I remember the show as being pretty good.

I liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but it was a box office bomb. The show has surpassed the movie by leaps and bounds.

Well it wasn't a movie but the Friends pilot is HORRIBLE. I watched it the other day and was laughing at it--that's how bad it was.

B5 pilot was so terrible I turned it off after five minutes. But after awhile I watched it every week for three more years.
