Yes, the dinner was boring, mainly bagging on Gerry, who's become the verbal punching bag for the rest of the house due to his "germiness" and lack of hygiene, and his faux intellectualism (Roddy makes up author names and Gerry claims that he has heard of their books. LOL!)

Yep -- looks to me like there's some twist coming up that could result in someone being returned to the house.

There's no other reason they'd be keeping the evicted guests locked up AWAY from their families -- and skipping all that good "reunion" footage.

If you read the live feeds daily, your head would explode. There are more criss-cross alliances going on, I don't know how any of those people keep them straight in their heads without tipping their hand too early.

In tonight's show, you could tell that Eric and Roddy basically caught Josh in a slip-up when Josh got annoyed when Roddy croquetted Chiara's ball away to better their side's odds on winning POV, rather than letting Marcellas win it. It's that sort of telltale signs inside the house that you have to notice to know who's lying to you, and who's lying to the other side.

The BB shows are a bit too pre-packaged, and don't give it all away, unless you pony up for the live feeds, and you can get a lot more information to assess each player's performance. It's not a sprint, but a psychological marathon.

I think it's very disingenous of Jason to hide behind his christian persona (more or less), when he knows he will have to outright lie to someone down the line, all for greed. I'm not saying you can't espouse to have morals and then go back on your word, since this is a game of lying and deceit and some bit of strategy and luck tossed in. But to purposefully use a "christian/virgin persona" in this manner doesn't reflect well on him as a person in my eyes. Then again, no one in the house is a saint, even if one has been all but designated to be one. Even if you are like Jason in his beliefs, it'd be better to keep it off the table, and use other means to influence people to catch them off-guard. It's almost too easy a card to play to garner people's trust. Danielle has been able to do so without playing the bible card. Josh has been really despicable in the way he uses his ethnicity to garner sympathy for "his people's plight" to stay in the game. But these people were put in this house because they all have some boundaries that don't necessarily jive with normal people's boundaries, and that's where the drama, the lying, the scheming comes from.

I have to wonder if Gerry is not playing the best of them by convincing all of the houseguests how gross his personal hygiene is, and how faux intellectual he is. He's turned it down quite a few notches, allowing others like Amy and Marcellas and Josh to self-destruct. He's letting them string him along for being use as vote fodder later, but he's using that antipathy to his favor.

Knowing that Jason and Danielle think that they have a stealth alliance makes it fun to see if/when the others catch on, and what moves they make to counter it. How long can they keep this charade up? Can you imagine if the others get wind of J/D, and put them both up for eviction? That would be an entertaining week to watch unfold.

I think it's amazing that Danielle has used the girl power angle to slide in with Chiara and Lisa, while brokering a quasi alliance of 5 against 4. I have to admit that's some good gameplay (for now). I can't wait for the fireworks once L/C figure it out. It may be too late, but it's like that revelation at the end of Scooby Doo episodes, "We would have gotten away with it if it wasn't for that damned Danielle!"

And it is interesting to watch how the 2 couples think they are running the show. Once the others get HoH, I think it's all over for the 2 couples. But if they can maintain a run for HoH, the rest of the house is toast. But the balances changes on a weekly basis, and whoever can withstand the pressure the best (and not piss off the jury with faux sympathy - Roddy utterly failed in that respect this week) will win the game.

I still would be very surprised to see Marcellas go tomorrow night, but stranger things have happened.

I agree with a lot you say. It is fun to watch unfold.
However I give more props to Danielle and Jason. I'd like to see them pull it off if they can. It's a good strategy and working so far. Although I think because someone on that side needs HOH, they'll have to show their cards too early.
For Danielle or Jason to get HOH, to stay true to each other they would have to nominate two of the couples.
I guess Danielle could nominate Eric/Roddy.
And Jason nominate Lisa/Chiara.
That "could" keep the charade up a bit longer.
But their BEST bet would be for Marcellus to get HOH for that side.

Either way with all these alliances, it'll be fun because once one man is voted out of their alliance they'll start flip flopping to "their other alliance" and backstab. And then their "original alliance" will place doubt in the others.

What is also interesting it'd actually be better for the couples to get rid of Marcellus over Amy, they just don't know it.
And Chiara's hatred blinds it. Because Marc is not on the couples side in really any way. While Amy, Roddy could turn her around, or The "girls" could try to get her on their side.

It'll be fun to watch the game play out.
Still enjoyed BB2 better, so far. But this game is good.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Chiara is not that pretty? I mean she's ok looking, attractive, etc. I just wonder if outside the house, a guy like Roddy would even look twice at her. He seems a little out of her league.

Re: Chiara, I didn't think she was all that attractive, but she's got that brazen sex-talk thing going on, and isn't too inhibited to put what she's got out on display (she's the antithesis of Amy in that respect). She's fun in a sex-crazed girl way. I'm more impressed with the dim wattage that she's shown upstairs (reading about how Roddy has to explain strategy to Chiara in elementary school terms is embarrassing).

I do think that the 2 couples want Amy out to not only lessen Marcellas' base, but Josh's base as well. Plus Amy is too emotional to count on as an ally in the game, she's fickle/juvenile. It is fun to see that Marcellas is now prepared to take on Josh as an ally to get the 2 couples out. Strange bedfellows, no? Danielle has all but shown Marcellas that she and Jason have been working the game all this time. Hope Marcellas noticed.

I'm still amazed how how the group dynamics change from week to week.

thought i would give my opinions:

Marcellas has got to go. I can't stand him he is so annoying. I would say keep amy and get rid of her next week. I know josh is a little irritating but i think he makes the show more entertaining.
If i was in there my main concern would be Danielle. Even though i like her she has got more tricks up her sleeve than anyone else. Everyone must watch out for her.
Lisa i think is the most attractive in the house while i agree chiara isn't the best looking she does come in second.
Can't wait for the show tonight

Oh yeah i think roddy or jason should win

Roddy suffers from intellectual insincerity. He knows what he needs to say, but it comes out wrong.

I laughed my butt off when they showed Amy and Marcellas in the hammock, and Roddy climbs in, after a few moments of awkward silence or small talk, Marcellas tells Roddy to get the hell out of there because it "just ain't working" (paraphrased) as Roddy tries to apologize for putting them up for eviction. That was funny.

I don't think Jason will win because no one will want to be next to him in the final two. Logic dictates that Jason will be bounced in the next month before he can solidify his spot. People will want to have a Josh next to them in the final vote, trying to play the "Will" card like Nicole did, but this time around, the strategy might work (probably for Danielle who kept Josh in for this reason) because Josh is truly unlikeable in the final analysis.

Yeah, she's pretty cute. Not gorgeous, but her demeanor, beig free, flighty and stupid is superficially attractive. the kind of girl that would be fun for a night or a week (if you know what I mean- wink' wink' nudge' nudge')

I dont know, the guy strikes me as a bit of a mongoloid. Look at the size of that guys noggin'. My neck gets tired just looking at him.

BB needs to, just for this week, eliminate both nominees. I can't stand either...

Oh yeah, if anyone cares, the houseguest booted was Amy, who handled it like she knew it was coming, and it was a unanimous vote of 7-0.

Now onto the HoH for this week: Was Eric thinking in the metric system? How do you get 268 inches for the combined height of the evicted gals in inches? I immediately said 195" when asked the question, glad that Gerry was able to stave off the hunky fireman. Now it's going to be very interesting. Loved how Roddy and Josh immediately started schmoozing Gerry after the HoH competition.

As to possible nominees: I think Eric and Chiara are on the block, with Lisa ready to go if either get vetoed. Gerry can't go Chiara and Lisa, I don't think (affront to girl power and all), and he can't really put up any from the non gang of 2 couples, even as the decoy. It would be funny to have Marcellas up there just for shits and giggles, but that's too risky. Then again, I'd laugh my butt off if Gerry put Roddy (and going against his word to Roddy) and Eric up for the purpose of eviction, and getting one of those guys out of the house regardless of veto. Plus there's that next twist that's being introduced into the game next week.
