BBQ sauce question On FOODTV?

I was watching the cookoff championship on Foodtv the other night. I saw a recipe for a great bbq sauce that included Jack Daniels.

Does anyone know it

1 cup ketchup

1 cup apple cider vinegar

1 cup jack daniels

was there more?

From the Food Network's site (http://www.foodtv.com/foodtv/recipe/...,17433,00.html):
Captain Bill's Griller Thriller

Recipe courtesy of William Parker for FoodTV.com's BBQ Sauce Championship Cook-Off Contest

2 cups Jack Daniels (black) bourbon
1 cup finely chopped sweet onion
1/2 cup finely chopped roasted red sweet pepper
2 heads roasted garlic, smashed
2 tbsp coarsely ground black pepper
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups ketchup
1 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp Tabasco sauce (or to taste if you like it hotter)

Set aside the two cups of bourbon.

Mix all remaining ingredients in a deep pan. Turn on the heat to a low simmer and very carefully (don't spill any) stir in one cup of the bourbon. Add ice to the second cup of bourbon and sip while occasionally stirring the sauce.

Simmer for 1 hour, replenishing the sipping liquid as required.

The recipes for this contest, which were provided by contributors who may not be professional chefs, have not been tested in Food Network's kitchens. Therefore, Food Network cannot attest to the accuracy of any of the recipes.

Difficulty: Easy
Doesn't sound like yours though. Two cups of ketchup instead of one, and no cider vinegar.

I found two other BBQ sauce recipes by searching on "Championship Cook-Off," but neither one had JD in it. http://www.foodtv.com search at top right. Good luck.

Edit to add: Emeril has a bourbon BBQ sauce also: http://www.foodtv.com/foodtv/recipe/...,11672,00.html

Found this in their schedule http://www.foodtv.com/foodtv/episode...CCSP01,00.html From last Sunday:
U.S. BBQ Championship
In this episode: Seventy-five of the best barbecue teams in the country gather in Shreveport, LA to test grills and skills. Competitors struggle through the night tending their fires through a 30-hour challenge to prepare four different meals for a panel of judges.

Next air date: Saturday, 06/15 5:00 PM ET
Recipes: Sorry, there are no recipes currently available.
Watch again Saturday and tape the episode, or take notes. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if anyone caught these instructions in the recipe I posted above:

Turn on the heat to a low simmer and very carefully (don't spill any) stir in one cup of the bourbon. Add ice to the second cup of bourbon and sip while occasionally stirring the sauce.

Simmer for 1 hour, replenishing the sipping liquid as required.
