Who else will be watching / taping A Tale Of Two Cities (1935) on TCM tonight:confused:

Just curious to know if any other forum members will be doing the same as I:)

BTW: I don't know if you checked my Greta Garbo post today.....But....Can you take a look and answer my question? I seem to remember that you were going to watch them last night also.

Answered the Garbo question in Garbo thread.

Should these TCM threads be in the TV Forum or the Movie Forum? You might get a better response in Movies.

I don't think I'd ever seen A Tale Of Two Cities (1935) before last night. I really enjoyed it. Even though the Rathbone quotient was rather low, he definitely made an impression when he was on screen.

Ronald Colman also did a fine job, but Blanche Yurka nailed the role of Madame Defarge. I really hated her character by the end of the film.

I was going to put it in the movie forum for just that reason. I didn't because I thought it would be moved..........

I'm glad you liked the movie........It's one of my favorites:) I always thought the acting was as good as it gets.

BTW: Whenever I see Colman in this role I wish I could speak as well as he.
