It'll be interesting to see which version gets put on the DVD set. I'll bet that when Fairuza signed on for a recurring role, she didn't count on a one-year "summer hiatus".

The new EW has the answer. It's not online yet. Her role has been recast with Lola Glaudini who played drug addicted Deloris Mayo on NYPD Blue. Her scenes were reshot and the new versions will be included on the Third Season DVDs. "It was a creative decision" says an HBO spokeswoman. Reps for both actresses were mum, only confirming that Glaudini will apppear this fall, when her character goes deeper undercover.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I've been a Sopranos fanatic since it started airing and have been looking for these cut out Fairuza Balk scenes for years. After doing a google search it brought me here. Could anyone tell me where I could find them?

Try YouTube? I don't recall if they were on the S3 DVD set or not. Honestly, they were so minimal that it was really nothing. The other chick was better in the role.

Hi! I'm looking for these super rare scenes with the original actress. I'm very glad they retconned it for continuity, but you know, I'm curious as to how it played out originally.
