I thought it was easily one of the worst episodes of the season. WAY below the quality of past few weeks. And the courtroom scenes only reminded me how much I miss Lionel Hutz.

This was pretty dang horrible. also, why are they billing it as the season finale when there's a new episode on Wednesday?

HORRIBLE episode. One of the worst that I've ever seen. Although I did like the screamapillar. Not the storyline, just the scremapillar itself. Maybe as much as the barfing frog-thing Bart made on the Harry Potter Halloween skit.

Otherwise, the episode is best forgotten.

It was ok. there were parts of it that had there moments. the end was a let down though.

the screaming catapiler was pretty funny

"He's sexually attracted to fire, if he doesn't get constent reassurance he will die... You sure god wanted him to stay alive"
had me rolling on the floor. :p

I thought it started out pretty strong but after the old lady plot was introduced it went downhill pretty fast.

Mr. Burns covering for Homer while Carl and Lenny walked by cracked me up pretty hard though.

i'll admit the old lady story line was a little weak, but the episode was funny overall. I'm sure there are people in Other that would love the beginning about the EPA taking on landowner rights. the burns/lenny/carl thing was funny. wearing a beret on your wang. H. diddy. a lot of one liners in there

Loved that scene with Burnsie covering for Homer...my brother and I were cracking up pretty hard...

Not a good episode, but a mediocre one. Even after watching this episode, I am still thinking of last week's episode "I am Lugash, I make you star!".

This was one of the best episodes this season. Sure the plot was weak, but the worst Simpsons episodes have always been the ones with more plot and less random jokes. The Burns covering for Homer thing was hilarious, and I always enjoy a joke at the expense of FOX, especially since they cancelled all the best new shows.

I thought both episodes they showed were pretty bad.

This show used to be so much better.....

I thought the season finale was decent, but nothing spectacular. Wednesday's new episode w/ the Mob looks really good.

but there were several parts that really cracked me up!

the homer/burns cover for me thing was great

and the jab at fox, with the worlds funniest frame ups..
damn, it came out of nowhere and was damn funny.. but I love it when shows trash all this reality crap that the networks are pushing on us anymore..

I'll have to agree with most. Not the best, but certainly not the worst, I've seen. Doesn't hold a candle to last week's episode though...

its not the last new episode of the season.. we will get one more new episode wednesday night!! :D

I almost wet my pants laughing at that! The whole catapiller thing in general was hilarious - especially him laughing in the execution gallery!

I was weak story-wise, but the one-liners saved it for me. I also enjoyed Lenny, Carl and Moe taking marriage advice from Homer in the beginning.

Moe:"I can combine this with my speed dating process... [sigh]426 no's." :lol:

Well, this show edumacated me. I'd never heard of "Speed Dating" before Moe mentioned it. By coincidence, they had an article on it in today's paper so I read it to see what the hell it was. Turns out it's a social function where you rotate among members of the opposite sex and talk to each of them for 5 minutes. Sounds horrid...glad I'm married!

What a crappy episode. Screamapillar? What the hell was that?

My favorite line has to be the last one:

"I've made my choice!"

And then I was relieved the episode was over! :D

I just remember that it made all eight of watching laugh hysterically.

Let's say Homer was not making eye contact with Carmen Electra

The first 20 minutes or so were horrible, but there were some funny laughs at the end.

The newspapr headine of "Ho. J. Simpson" was great.

I totally agree. I loved this episode. It will be a classic. I just loved when all these people get on the net witht their "worst episode ever" posts, yet still come back for more every week. We all have simpson syndrome. We go into the show every sunday night with ultra-high hopes that we are goignt o get the funniest show wer have ever seen. I find that when watching a new episode I never get all the jokes because I'm too busy looking for jokes. The Simpsons are always better revisited. Everyone just seems to forget that.
