I guess it would be interesting to see another one. However I have a feeling even w/ a complete change of characters (which at minimum I think they should do) it's going to be "been there, done that"...

I'm actually surprised that it's coming back. I like the show and have seen all episodes thus far, but I don't think the ratings are all that high for a serial drama.

The format should remain the same, but they do need to do it without Sutherland's family. The multiple kidnapping thing is pretty ridiculous already.

I do look forward to Teri giving birth in Season 270, however.

this is one show that i actually wouldn't mind if it took a year off and came back later with a good plotline.

I'm thrilled 24 is coming back, but I too hope that they find a whole new storyline for the new season. I could even handle some of the same cast (if they keep the focus on Jack's assignments at CTU, for example) - but Jack's family should stay out of it.
