ET reports Spin City + Dharma & Greg Are History

It was their lead story tonight.

Both series have not been picked up for the new season

I believe ABC also canceled The Job, Philly, and some others. Man... ABC better have some sort of plan.

No kidding. It seems like they're replacing their whole lineup.

That's what happens when they give all there shows a half-hearted chance at life.

A whole new line-up that will fail to attract new viewers.....exactly what ABC deserves!

well all their shows got bad ratings. although they could give em a while to develop an audience, they need some kind of hit to make money

So does Kim Delaney go back to NYPD Blue? If so, who gets axed? I like the girl who replaced her. She gives me the hot.

I'm not too impressed with how they run their network either.

I hope they bring her back but not at Connie's nor especially Rita's expense.

I really liked Philly. That was a solid 2-hour block on ABC. In fact, except for MNF and the 6 episodes of The Bachelor, that was the only time that I watched ABC. I guess Blue will go back to 10 on Tuesdays.

Dennis Franz was on Regis & Kelly this morning and I think I heard him say that "NYPD Blue" does indeed get its old time slot back.

I'm going to miss "Dharma & Greg". While it hasn't been as good as it was the first season or two, it was still a better sitcom than most on today.

Honk!

I agree...Philly was a very good show. Good storylines, a lot of chemistry between the actors.

That's a shame about Spin City. I thought it was one of the better comedies on any network. IMO It got better with the arrival of Charlie Sheen (though the cast chemestry seemed to suffer a bit) but all in all it didn't deserve the treatment it got (going up against The West Wing and all)

[i]The Job[/b] was also very funny although I'm not surprised it's history, ABC made sure it was doomed from the beginning.

As far as the others, I've never watched Philly Never seemed too interesting to me (but I heard a lot of good things about it on this board)

I stopped watching Dharma and Greg a few seasons ago and to be honest I thought it was cancelled a year ago. I guess the novelty wore off for me.
