Friends: Did NBC release the original "bomb-scare" version of TOW Rachel Tells

Ok, I read somewhere that in the U.K., there is the original The One Where Rachel Tells (Season 8, episode 3) episode. Can someone verify this?

Anyway, the plot is something like this...

*** Warning: Possible spoiler (if such an episode does exist) ***

1) Chandler sees a sign at the baggage check-in counter about it being illegal to joke about bombs. He goes ahead anyway; resulting in the arrest of himself and Monica. In the broadcast version, this scene was replaced with the bit about the other honeymooning couple getting the last pair of first-class seats.

2) They are found to be innocent and are released. Just then, Joey calls Monica and informs her of a gas leak in her apartment. He asks if it's alright to break down the door to check, and she sarcastically says something like:" No, wait for the explosion to blow the apartment apart." A security official overhears this and they are arrested again.

So, is there any truth to the above. If so, I would love to watch it. It sounds way funnier than the "cleaned-up" version.
