I just checked out the complete first season on DVD from the local library over the weekend and the entire family (don't worry, everyone is over 18) is absolutely hooked! I have the complete second season on the way from Netflix, and we enjoy the show enough to make a subscription to HBO worthwile, but unless it's only in the third season now, we wouldn't be up to speed.

Right now, the show is on hiatus. Season 3 ended, but 4 is starting in September.

They are about 3/4th of the way through reshowing Season 3 right now. I have the first two on DVD but didn't have HBO until the reshow's started, so I'm now watching Season 3 for the first time.

I had actually never seen The Sopranos until HBO started re-airing all the episodes starting from the pilot. Sunday evenings have been TV bliss since last Fall.

Once they are done with season 3, will they go back to the pioit. I don't think 18+ is necessary to watch the sopranos. It is not like watching oz or something.

Well, I don't either, but I figured someone would get upset if I didn't include that little bit of info, thinking I was letting young children watch it or something.

So what I'm hearing is that I may be able to see season three sometime in late summer?

there's alot more reason to subscribe than just Sopranos IMO. that band of brothers series, alri$$, and most of their original programming is great.
