VH1 Classic...anyone get this?
I was channel surfing over the weekend and stumbled upon this channel. I didn't even know I had it! What a great channel. They basically play videos all the time (like music channels once did) and have segments throughout the day such as: 80s pop, one hit wonders, new wave, lost songs, banned videos, etc...

Yep. About a month ago I added a theme channel for "We Are The 80's" to my ReplayTV. So every night we go through it and skip through the videos we don't want to see.

Great channel, and I wish it were more widespread--you usually need a very contemporary digital cable or sat service to have any prayer of getting it. I saw stuff on there I haven't seen in decades and made me smile from ear to ear.

Oh yea this channel rocks. I upgraded to a dish501 pvr I will record this channel at night for 6 or so hours and go back and find those videos I really liked! I have it on right now in fact...

I prefer the normal VH1. I mean come on, Late World with Zach is on there. Who doesn't tape this incredible show every single day? Plus the 9000th airing of Dr. Dre "Behind the Music." You guys don't know what you're missing.

I love the channel! Besides helping to relive some of my youth, it's a novel idea- a station devoted to airing music videos...why didn't someone think of this sooner?

This channel is the greatest! Not only is it basically commercial-free, but they really play some obscure videos I had given up hope on ever seeing again. Unfortunately, MTV2 was just like this channel a couple of years ago, but it devolved into the all hip-hop, commercial laden channel it is today. I pray that this never happens to VH-1 Classic.
