Two characters I want to see return?
1) The Figi Mermaid Perhaps the coolest creature in the entire 9 season run of the X-Files. I hope it returns to cause hell on the series finale. Perhaps the next movie! 2) Roland Fuller Give it a rest, Scully. We all know he is the real father of William. |
Okay, i'm SOOOOO not excited for the rest of this season anymore. I was just on TVGUIDE.com .. and i read the teaser for 5/12.. It couldn't sound any more stupid:
Spoiler:
THAT'S THE NEXT TO LAST EPISODE?? I wouldn't be surprised at this point if the last episode just turned out to be one of the man-eating-plant episodes, with nothing to do with the main plot/conspiracy. |

Originally posted by garmonbozia I hope so. I really miss him and hope he pops up before the end of the series for no other reason than so he can be in the next film(s) since he was excluded from Fight the Future. |
Scully's baby being the 'link'?--this was explained before as Gibson being the tie to the aliens. He was one of the most interesting characters and they have not shown him since, very disappointing.
I hope there is not some Muldar/Cigarette Man, "Luke, I am your father" scene. This explains why Fox was able to live all those years of the x files though! |

once again I renew my theory that Chris Carter is now the biggest tool.

Originally posted by Professor Frink Are we actually going to get some answers to all that stuff from the first 5 or 6 seasons? Like:

the black oil
the shapeshifting bounty hunters
the alien/human hybrids
Scully's and others' abductions
the neck implant and subsequent cancer
Mulder's father's involvement in it all
the collection of tissue samples from all humans, kept in a big underground vault
something about smallpox and bees
And that's just off the top of my head. A lot of stuff has fallen by the wayside. |
Originally posted by dolphinboy well, if you are sooooo not excited maybe you should watch something else that night, read a book or even go out and see spider-man (see it again if you already have). there is no reason to torture yourself watching a show that makes you miserable. personally, i'm looking forward to watching it. I tend to agree that it is a pretty lame concept for the second-to-last episode of the series, but I guess it just demonstrates that this show should have ended 4 years ago, after the fifth season when the movie came out. |

Ya know, even though the burn victim turned out to be Jeffrey Spender, I'm still not totally convinced that that wasn't David Duchovny playing the part. Another poster said the eyes were all wrong, which I won't disagree with, but with the skill of make-up artists these days.... I don't know. There was something about the voice....
Duchovny directed (and co-plotted) the episode, so he was certainly there on the set, and he strikes me as the type who would enjoy trying to mess with the audience. |

Originally posted by Robert He got shot in the head! We all saw it! I don't he's coming back anytime soon. I am going to stick with my belief that Krycek has been transformed into a super soldier. Remember that it was mentioned that his body was never found. On the X-Files no one is really dead unless there is a body in a casket, and if you are Fox Mulder, not even then. Chris Carter told the actor that played Deep Throat (sad that his character was being killed off at the end of the first season) that no one really dies in the X-files. Apparently true since a friend told me that he read in an article that Spoiler:
