why do they act like they don't know what a phasing device is?
Did Geordi forget that episode, "The Next Phase" or is it to explain to casual viewers who may have missed the earlier episode?
I can understand the surprise that teh federation was working on a cloak/phase device, but they should have known what one was
also, why decloak next to the warbird? why not leave the system then go to warp. Picard's such a do gooder
