The Practice - 4/14/02

Well, the prostitute thing was stupid ... but the murder trial ... hell yeah! I love Laroquette! This show has gone so far past any believability, but with Laroquette's showmanship, I can overlook it.

Larroquette was pretty good. That whole prostitute thing pisses me off, didn't they already haev a show just like this involving her a couple of months ago?

The Joey Heric character has to be one of the best who's ever been on TV (but I hated Larroquette on Night Court; well, I hated that show). I must say I did guess the ending but getting there was still about as much fun as could be.

Spoiler:
I just knew Joey had to be up to something and, since we know he is a killer, it didn't seem to be much of a stretch to figure he did it. We just had to see how he could have orchestrated the whole thing.

I'm starting to get tired of Jimmy always being a little b**ch. I did, however like it when
Spoiler:
the whole firm went and stood behind Jimmy and threatend the big boys. "Win or lose, you lose.

Yeah. Laroquette takes the show to the level where even if you guess the absurd ending, he's so cool he makes it fun getting there and in the end you don't feel cheated.

I thought it was a great episode.

I did, however, have to get past the whole premise.

"Oh, hi John Larroquette's character. We here at the firm all hate you and we know you're a killer. You are an awful, dispicable man. What's that? You've been to law school and would like us to sit in on your latest case with you? Oh, and it starts in like 12 hours, giving us no time to prepare or anything? And we'd have to abandon our current cases and take time out for this chance to play second fiddle to you, a murderer?

Sure."

But that's David Kelley.
