I'd say, The Maude Flanders dies episode. The stupid Dennis Rodman-like horse episode. Any sappy episode like- the one where Bart burns down the Christmas tree and ruins Christmas, and one of the all time worst was the afterschool special toned one where Milhouse parents get a divorce.

I also pretty much hate the episode with Grimey cause it was too realistic and kinda serves to make you think about how stupid the Simpsons are

Too realistic??? thats a puzzler. One of my favorite episodes.
(roughly)
Lenny-"Way to go Homer, you won."
Grimes-"But, it was a contest for children??? He's an adult man who won a contest for children???."
Lenny-"Yeah, and Homer beat the pants off em'."

Grimes-"Today I caught him taking a nap in his radation suit."
Lenny-"Yeah, if you had two beers at lunch, you'd have to take a nap too."

2nd one Barry White singing at the end of the show. It didn't help the story, looks like it was put in just to have a star appear in this episode.

Ummm, the snakes were attracked to low bass, so the joke was they needed a deep bass sound to attract the snakes and save them, and Barry White just happened to by playing in Springfield. So, it wasnt uselss and, I thought, pretty funny.

The recent episode with the retired television cowboy. Just not funny.

Behind the Laughter

I laughed once, when the narrator says that the Simpsons are a Northern Kentucy family.

1st the one where the baseball players appeared. They show Jose Canseco running in to save a kid from a burning house.
While I don't normally like it when they have celebrities guest as themselves, i thought this was a hilarious episode, probably best of the third season. All of the dialogue between Mr. Burns and Darryl Strawberry is hilarious.

On a sidenote, when i was in third grade, like 8 years ago, Darryl Strawberry came and talked to us about how he was clean off drugs and that his life when on drungs wasn't worth living. Less than a week later, i heard on ESPN that he was caught with cocaine. Good times.

Without a doubt, the Dennis Rodman horse episode. This episode is just painful.

I've missed many of them from the last two or three years, mainly from the lackluster writing. However, somehow I still managed to catch the "Africa" episode, and I thought it was horrendous.

Then, I happened to catch it last night, the Brazil trip. It's as if the writers know they are reaching. Bart makes a reference to being on "every continenent" and they tried to throw in that funky sequence about the location of Springfield. I laughed a couple of times, but these family vacation episodes really are to keep them from writing a thoughtful story.

Anywho....

The clip shows and the ones that try and either have a moral or try to be heartwarming. That's just not what I watch The Simpsons for.

i hated the one where they go to japan, and the singing episode. but my all time worst episode was the nsuck episode (or the one where bart gets his friends to join a boy band or something like that, its that bad.) anothere bad one was the itchy and scratchy and poochy show episode.

Normally I hate Lisa episodes too, but between Storybook Village and the "It's still good" pig, this is one of my favorite episodes.

Clip shows suck balls. I haven't seen the most recent one, but my least favorite is the singing one.

The great majority of the first season and the last 3 seasons have sucked. The episode where Lisa makes friends on summer vacation is one of my least favorites from when the show was still good.

My least favorite episode? None in particular come to mind but they have made a fair amount of crap over the years.

What? the Simpsons == Stupid? Never!

I loved that episode. The contrast between Grimey and Homer made that show so hilarious, and the fact that everyone was so obvlivious to Homer's stupidity made the show even more priceless.

The episode Lisa goes to college is excellent, but the lisa episodes usually do suck.

That's the problem right there. If it had been a 20 second episode with just that line, it would have been gold, but the other 29 minutes and 40 seconds (including commercials) made me sad.

That's one of my favorites, and the one that I feel should have ended the series.

"Dad, that's Fox!"
"Ahh.... Undo! Undo!"

"Yoink dot adios backslash losers!"

"We now return to Battling-Seizure Robots!"

"Knife goes in, guts come out, that's what Osaka seafood concern is all about."

I hate the one where that yellow kid with the bulging eyes does that one thing that one time and then makes some smart-ass remark.

Nothing could be "worser."

I think my least favorite is the one where Maude dies, there's a few funny lines but overall it's not that great.

I loved this episode where Homer sets up a damn to stop the water and the rich people find gold in the river bed and Kent Brockman is doing the news with all this gold on and how he is talking about them being more rich and says " Thanks to East Springfield we will all be taking golden showers!" all the camera men start laughing at him. Me and my friends say this line to each other all the time!

I disagree. Admittedly, I'm biased...Milhouse is probably my favorite character next to Homer, and he's got some great moments in this one. The Mystery Date game where the dud looks exactly like him, and "See you in the car. Best wishes, Milhouse."

I didn't like the one where Homer and Lisa go in the water tanks and she is a cat. And I didn't like the one where Homer ate the chilli and became a fox, the one where Lisa was grown up, and finally the one where Kim Bassinger was at the lake.

They get more unfunny with each new episode. That horse episode was crap (thanks for reminding me about it by the way), the bart cowboy episode, hell all this season was pretty terrible.

It seems like they're timing for jokes are completely off or they jump from event to event to event. Ex. Grandpa wants a decent funeral, homer builds a tennis court. We don't see grandpa for the rest of the episode. They just blew that whole grandpa storyline off. The jokes all seem to go into outrageous farce, instead of the more subtle humor they used to be good at.

Or is it just me?

Marge: Okay Bart, your turn.

Bart opens the door, and pulls out his Mystery Date.

Marge: You got the dud!
Homer: Hey! {Pointing at Milhouse} He looks just like you, Poindexter!
Bart: How come Lisa doesn't have to play? How come she gets to hang out with her friends?
Homer: You've got friends. You've got the dud right here. {To Milhouse} Stand up for yourself, Poindexter.

I keep that episode on my hard drive for this exact scene.

Okay, 30 seconds.

Ironically, some of the worst episodes are the ones that have the best quotes or memorable segments.

"Did I mention his friend is a talking pie?"

For me, the proverbial "WORST EPISODE EVER" was the one where Burns and Homer were snowed in after an avalanche (or something). Not one single laugh. I am sure that there are worse episodes, but this is the one that turned me from a devoted Simpsons fanatic into an only occasional viewer.
