It's very rare that I have the time to sit down and watch a show at It's regular scheduled time.I try to catch It after watching a movie or at some other time.

Both, and sometimes at the same time. I watch live what I can, but I also record hours of programming at the beginning of the week when all the good shows are on. Then on Thursday and Friday when there's nothing to watch, I catch up. When times are really rough, I'll watch two things at the same time.

I watch everything live, except 24, because it comes on at the same time NYPD Blue does, so I tape 24 and watch it at 10 PM when nothing good is on, and before I have to go to work.

I don't time shift nearly as much as I used to. If the new Fox shows (Andy Richter / Greg the Bunny) prove to be worth while I'm sure I'll be taping them for later viewing.

I watch everything live except on Sunday nights: I watch Alias, tape The X-Files at 11 (I have an LA FOX affiliate on my dish) and watch Six Feet Under when it reruns on Monday at 9:00.
The 8:00 Sunday timeslot is way too crowded.

If you're referring to Philly, I just never got into the show. Or are you referring to something else?

I time-shift 80-90% of the shows I watch. With 2 softball games per week, and some team trivia action, that leaves me only with "free" Thursdays and Fridays to watch stuff in real time, and mainly that means watching Survivor, and ER in real time. If I think about it, I'll try and watch Dark Angel in real time, I usually time-shift that show as well. Alias is the one I watch in real time, and tape X-Files.

I rarely watch anything live anymore. I use my Tivo and will usally get some in the buffer so I can zip past commercials, and there's always something that needs to be done, so the pause function works wonders.

Seeing as how I'm never home during primetime I almost always tape everything.
Even if I am home I still usually tape because I hate the commercials.
I worked on Sunday night so it was the first time I had to tape the Oscars. Luckily I got the whole 4hr. 15 min. thing and was able to fast forward commercials, speeches by minor awards, some of the music and Barbra Streisand.
For instance tonight is Monday and I will tape (on SLP) Boston Public, American Embassy and Once & Again.

nothing live, all on the tivo, and I watch at my own leisure.
Having directivo no the west coast is cool for hbo and mtv as I get the east coast showings, so osbournes @ 7 and six feet under @ 6
The only thing I might watch live is soccer.
