Ad Agencies Aren't Even Trying

So, I'm watching the NCAA tournament non-stop like all good Americans should be doing and I see the following three ads in succession:

Pepsi: For Those Who Think Young

As the generations pass, we see the evolution of the Pepsi product and its perpetually annoying jingle.

Burger King: You Can Have it Your Way

As the generations pass, we see the evolution of the Burger King product and its perpetually annoying jingle.

Mercedes Benz: Unchained Melody

As the generations pass, we see the evolution of the Mercedes Benz and annoying variations on "Unchained Melody."

Let's give it up for originality.

I actually like the new Verizon ad with the guy talking about "think outside the box" and "changing the 'paradigim."
It so reminds me of a few college professors.

I'll be glad when winter is over.
If I see on more ad with an SUV blasting through snow I'm gonna wretch.
Can't they come up with any other ideas to sucker people into buying these things?!?

anyone notice the verizon guy in the NBC show promos last week?... that was pretty interesting, but annoying.

I guess the ad companies are going with what works. can't say I blame them, but the concept is getting just a bit overused now.
