why is this a rerun?? dammit!

Because FOX is the antichrist of a network that likes to take good shows and sh*t on them (Futurama, Undeclared, The Tick) and shove endless reruns of their other shows (Malcolm, Simpsons, '70s Show) down our throats until we get sick of them.

but i cant think of anything special about today, that would have kept this week from being a new episode week

unless this just isnt a big ratings week, so they decided not to bring out the good stuff :(

Fox is run by lobotomized chimpanzees. That should explain everything.

there was, however, a new FUTURAMA tonight, so who knows... we are talking about FOX here.

One reason: NASCAR

Just like during football season, they're showing reruns of the Simpsons because they know that NASCAR is going to eat into that timeslot. My guess is that if there isn't a race on, we'll get a new episode.

but futurama is an hour before simpsons, and it was a new episode (although they may just be trying to run the last of the futurama episodes before it leaves the air)..

or was it a night race, and didnt start till 8? ;)
