Another great looking episode tonight!!! :)
|
Jennifer Garner is the cover story for the March 8th Issue of Entertainment Weekly.
There's also a nice hour by hour synopsis article on "24" so new viewers can catch up on the show. |

Is the March 8th issue on sale yet? I also need to watch last weeks 24 which I taped.....I guess now I can just catch this on f/x tonight after Alias. :) |
I have a mail order subscription but I believe this issue hit retail stores this past Friday.

That EW covers makes her looks like "Hedwig the Angry Secret Agent"!

A recap: Sidney saves herself from her strung up predicament from last week's episode by cutting her line and landing in the building across the street through some big windows, and easily fights her way out of there, with a little help from Dixon at the very end. Francie is stuck sending all the wedding gifts back, with a tersely written note about how her former fiance was a womanizing jerk. Sidney commiserate with her. Will Tippett is getting too close to SD-6, and Arvin wants him dead, but Jack uses scare tactics (threatened to kill his family and Sidney if Will went digging more into the story) to get Will to drop the story. Will is knocked out, and is awoken by a cell call by Sidney who has to cancel a previous engagement due to a dinner at Sloan's with his wife. Will gets his hot assistant Jenny (who is a knock-out earlier in the episode wearing a tight white top after some post-coitus activity) to pick him up from the remote location where he was threatened. During the car ride back into town, Will breaks up with Jenny, which pisses her off and she tells him she doesn't work for him anymore, and she boots him out of her car, so Will's SOL again. When he tell the prisoner (Ken Olin) that he's out of he whole thing, Jack's assassin outside the prison puts away his gun, so Will can live another day, and Jack is relieved after listening to the bugged prison area where the prisoners talk to visitors. Sidney and Dixon steal some Rimbaldi document that were coming by luxury boat, and Sidney photographs them for the CIA, but page 47 is the blank page that the CIA needs. Vaughn has Sidney invite herself over to Sloans place by ingratiating herself with Sloan's cancer-ridden wife, and Sidney brings Will along (after he's been beat up by a masked Jack), and Jack is also at the dinner (the irony of the scene was funny). Vaughn gives Sidney a bug in the shape of a paperclip to slip into Sloan's office. And she's is supposed to steal page 47 from Sloan's vault since the whole manuscript is being shipping to Germany for further analysis (though Sloan tells Sidney that it's going to England - maybe to trap her in tipping her cards down the line). Sidney succeeds in both mission at Sloan's house, but she was almost caught by Sloan at the very last minute. The CIA figure out what the ink that McKennis Cole wanted from the SD-6 vault, it's ink that makes the contents of blank pages become visible again. But it freaks out Vaughn, who shows page 47 to Sidney, and it's a drawing of a woman's face that looks just like Sidney. Cue the credits Okay, now to next week's preview teaser: Spoiler:

I fear where this latest development may lead, but I'll keep an open mind. Not many shows keep me on the edge of my seat like this one. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us next time. das |
Another good ep. I didn't think the picture looked anything like Sydney, actually, but I guess it's supposed to.
And, I think Will was actually bugged, not the prison. Remember the delivery guy patted his back before he went to the prison the first time, and the assasin bumped into him before he went in the second. |
I really enjoyed this episode. the dinner scene really made me laugh too through all the awkwardness. The ending was a bit bizarre, but I liked it. Sets-up some really cool possibilities.
On a side note, I always thought Sloan had an attachment to Sydney because he might be her father (or something like that). But it made me think tonight, that maybe he knew she had some part in this whole Rimbaldi thing. But I doubt it. seems way far-fetched. Anyhow, Roger Moore sounds great for next week. |
I'm gonna miss Jenny. She wasn't that important of a character, but I liked her. Such a nice girl. Her grandmother sounded so nice too.

Maybe it's not really a document from several hundred years ago? Maybe it's a fake page 47 from Sloan to say "I caught you."

That outfit on the boat. Enough said.

He has this HOT girl head over heels in love with him and he goes on his impossible quest for Sydney which even if she weren't a secret agent, will still have a more messed up life, just cause that's her personality... |
Will ditched Jenny to save Jenny from being another target for which to get at Will by those masked men (Jack/etc).

Let's just say that his beating accelerated the break-up, and without it, there's no telling how much longer he'd string along Jenny as his boot call.
