Miss USA on CBS *maybe Spoilers*
Did anybody catch the swimsuit portion of the Miss USA Pageant?
What was the deal with the fire theme?!?
Ya, Ok, I know it's in Gary IN, and those were supposed to be steel mill scenes on the video moniters.
But geez, if you don't know (and I bet most of America doesn't) there are steels mills in Gary, then that fire theme is in real poor taste.
Especially in light of recent events.
Those vidoe scenes looked liked burning, collapsing buildings at a quick glance.
People may have been thinking ,was this some awful, misguided attempt at a 9/11 tribute?!?
Having the girls photographed through burning fires just seemed badly timed at best.

Deion's speech reminded me of William Shatner. He was so bad that I couldn't stop laughing.
